Position Summary
The Copywriter plays a key role in shaping and managing the voice of our national home building brand at Sekisui House, US. Key Responsibilities

JUNIOR COPYWRITER
Location: Denver
Motive is looking for a Junior Copywriter who's equal parts storyteller, strategist, cultural sponge, and word-obsessed creative. You'll concept alongside art directors and senior creatives, craft ideas that spark across every channel, and help shape work for some of the boldest brands in the world.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Partner with creative, strategy, and account teams to ideate, write, and refine work across multiple projects at once.
Generate bold, strategically grounded ideas that resonate across digital, experiential, and traditional mediums.
Write clear, compelling copy including headlines, scripts, social content, manifestos, branding language, campaign concepts, and more.
Collaborate closely in a creative studio where ideas are shared, built, challenged, and elevated together-while also owning full deliverables when needed.
Bring a proactive mindset and willingness to jump in wherever the work takes you.
Stay current with cultural trends, industry shifts, and the evolving landscape of language and communication.
Continuously raise the quality of your writing and the ideas around you.
What You Bring (Candidate Requirements)
1-3 years of experience outside of school.
A degree in advertising, communications, creative writing, journalism, or a related discipline.
A strong online portfolio (website only-no PDFs or Word docs) showcasing your writing range and conceptual thinking.
Solid grasp of brand voice, storytelling, structure, clarity, and craft.
Ability to clearly articulate ideas and present work with confidence.
Comfort juggling multiple deadlines and seeing projects through from concept to completion.
Curiosity, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit that thrives working with art directors, designers, strategists, and account partners.
A passion for uncovering insights, writing with intention, and making meaningful work that moves people-and moves the needle.
