POSITION SUMMARY: The Schematic Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing company performance data, while working collaboratively with the Category Managers to develop world class schematics in assigned categories, for new store, remodel, category reset and speed to shelf initiatives. This includes accommodating decisions for new and discontinued items, working closely with the Category Manager, and supplier partners. Analytical skills and experience developed in this role provide important insight into assortment performance and future modifications. The Schematic Analyst also develops and maintains financial and other reports to display the progress of the department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Collaborate with Category Manager and others to develop analytically driven, fact based, space efficient, customer centric, store friendly schematics. Help maximize sales through the utilization of Space Management Software to build and maintain accurate optimized schematics. Perform Business analysis and problem-solving activities related to category review process. Analyzing performance of implemented schematics based on sales metrics and reporting tools. Proactively perform quality reviews for the assigned area of responsibility to assure accuracy and ensure clear communication. Responsible for driving timeline deliverables according to timelines for schematic execution. Ensure schematic changes are executed in a manner consistent with internal policies and procedures. Assist in developing databases that help streamline information flow from the Schematic Department to the Directors, Category Managers, stores, and vendor partners. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred bachelor's degree with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in merchandising and a strong knowledge of the Hispanic Foods industry; or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of the fundamental concepts and processes to support schematic development, assortment management and retail implementation Ability to comfortably engage in vendor, Category Manager, and corporate meetings. Excellent computer skills with working proficiency with MS Office Suite including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and space management programs. Good analytical and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize, manage and complete multiple assignments and meetings. Meet deadlines while adapting to changing work priorities. Demonstrates proficient verbal and written communications skills. Ability to work independently and with multiple cross functional team members. SUMMARY This position of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of complex duties required to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the Bank's BSA, Anti Money Laundering, Office of Foreign Asset Control monitoring and Financial Crimes Enforcement Network monitoring, according to established policies and procedures.
