The EPIC System Clindoc Lead System Analyst is responsible for the development, building, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of related applications, clinical information systems, and computerized systems for the Electronic Medical Record project for the Medisys network. Collaborates with other disciplines to develop, build, integrate, implement and maintain all Epic Care Clinical applications. Coordinates with SME's and participate in core group meetings. Coordinates and is responsible to assist in the training of related staff in Epic Care Clinical applications for the Medisys Network. Compiles analytical reports for Jamaica, Flushing hospitals. Configures and creates new records. Responsible for Change Control and Security Change Control. Investigates and troubleshoots issues reported by users. Assists MediSys users with issues regarding workbench reports. Provides tip sheets and guidance for Epic Support Desk and training. Review Nova notes, build, test and validate new upgrades and enhancements. Responsible for unit testing and integrated testing for upgrades. Works with Epic TS to resolve application issues. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience. This data analyst will be joining a team of roughly 5 individuals and part of their Customer Operations organization. This team is responsible for subsidized rural build/ state & federal grants pertaining to an estimated 6 year initiative to expand their footprint or services in rural areas. This initiative has been estimated to activate or add 1.1 million customers to the company. This data analyst will be responsible for working with various groups and stakeholders, extracting their data from multiple sources, identifying any gaps or discrepancies, then being able to report their findings. This data will be pertaining to which customers services have been activated or still need to be done. On a day-to-day basis, this data analyst will spend 85% of their time within data analysis: data manipulation, organizing data, extracting data from the various data sources and creating reports on it within Excel or Tableau and the other 15% meeting with stakeholders to understand their data and able to ensure all their data is centralized so all groups can access it.
