We decided to bring you a list of the best states for jobs for junior developers in the United States. Junior developer positions are available in every state, but not all states are the same. Some states do not offer the same wages, benefits, time off, etc for junior developers.We wanted to look at the best states for junior developers -- where there are plenty of junior developer jobs to go around and junior developers get paid what they deserve during every phase of their career.
To that end, we dove into our dataset of job and salary numbers to figure out which states have the best opportunities for junior developers. Washington is the best state for junior developers, where the median salary is $87,456.We found that Washington is the best state for junior developer jobs, whereas Oklahoma is the worst.
