The Navy Surface Warfare Analysis Group supports the Surface community and components of the United States Navy providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas.
We are seeking a dedicated junior Analyst to provide support to the Aegis Weapon System program (PEO IWS 1.0) within the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). We expect to fill this position immediately!
You will provide technical and programmatic support to one of the following working group leads: Systems Engineering, Development, Test & Evaluation (T&E), Production, Acquisition, Configuration Management, Ship integration, Integrated Training, Fleet Readiness, and Sustainment & Logistics. You will join a high performing team and be expected to develop a strong understanding of DoD, Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command and PEO IWS instructions and processes (e.g., DoD 5000).
We don't expect you to come in with any expertise but we do expect you to consistently demonstrate strong attributes to quickly build competencies and provide the highest quality products and services to the Lead Systems Engineer.
