The Navy Surface Warfare Analysis Group supports the Surface community and components of the United States Navy providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas.

We are seeking a dedicated junior Analyst to provide support to the Aegis Weapon System program (PEO IWS 1.0) within the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). We expect to fill this position immediately!

You will provide technical and programmatic support to one of the following working group leads: Systems Engineering, Development, Test & Evaluation (T&E), Production, Acquisition, Configuration Management, Ship integration, Integrated Training, Fleet Readiness, and Sustainment & Logistics. You will join a high performing team and be expected to develop a strong understanding of DoD, Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command and PEO IWS instructions and processes (e.g., DoD 5000).

East West Bank is seeking a Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst. The Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst will report directly to the SVP Regional Foreign Exchange Sales Manager. This role will play an essential role in supporting and growing the foreign exchange business within the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) business lines. In this role the Junior Foreign Exchange Analyst advisor will be expected to play a critical role supporting the C&I teams with various in marketing & business development efforts, provide world-class service to external & internal customers, and contribute to the overall sales cycle.

The position is with the FX Department at the headquarters location in Pasadena, CA however after completion of initial training, position could potentially be relocated to Houston, TX. Work hours will be 7:00AM to 4:00PM. The position is hourly, and overtime should be expected.

+ Assist with Day-To-Day Operations, including but not limited to foreign currency deposits, answering questions regarding FX products & rates, international payment needs, client relationship management (phone & in-person), generating sales reports & analytics, playing an essential role in maintenance & support of ongoing initiatives.

+ Assist with sales outreach efforts; creating client pitch book; business development & growth initiatives which include product training, sales presentations, and marketing events.
+ Performs other sales-related duties as assigned

+ Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint a plus

+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables & macros highly desired

+ Client-service experience highly desired

+ Previous banking experience preferred

+ Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and/or Cantonese a plus
