Job Description

Develop, debug, test, and document to satisfy large, complex business requirements. Work as part of a Scrum team to deliver technology solutions in an Agile fashion, including but not limited to sprint planning, standup calls, and sprint retrospectives. Participate in design and implement features using various. Deliver solutions on Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, and Cloud based technologies. Use test-driven development and scaled agile methods to deliver products to client requirements. Write technical specifications and test plans as necessary; conduct and assist in the unit, load, performance, and integration testing. Assist in third-level support of applications once delivered into Production.

Qualifications


BS in Computer Science or related field required. 2-4 years working experience in Java environment and spring technologies. Strong skills in Java, J2EE, REST, and SQL Exposure to React/Redux/AngularJS, and .NET is a plus Experience on building micro-services using spring-boot or other technologies. Strong advocate of a process-driven software development lifecycle. Exposure to CICD / Dev ops Process. Familiar working in an agile environment. Learns to use professional concepts. Use Test Driven Development and Experience in scaled agile methods. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:
Vlink has an immediate need for a Java Developer (Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS) to join our financial services team in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities:
Proficiency in coding in Java 8, Spring Boot technologies as well as unit testing/Mockito experience
Work on cloud transformation effort, move application components to AWS, update code, create/run CICD pipeline
Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.

Requirements / Qualifications:
5 years of development experience with Java 8, Spring boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security and REST Web Services is a must.
Advanced proficiency in unit testing/Mockito as well as coding in Java 8 and Spring Boot technologies
Experience in testing automation using Junit/Mockito, Cucumber
Min 6 months- 1 year of AWS Experience

Looking for a hands-on Jr-Mid JAVA Developer. As a Java Developer, you will assist in developing open source solutions, participate in design reviews, conduct code reviews, create test plans and participate in testing reviews, and resolve moderate defects. This position will help in supporting the designs, documents, reviews, and maintenance of the components of software solutions for projects related to the support of varying Integration applications as needed.

The role operates in an Agile / Scrum environment and requires a solid understanding of the full software lifecycle, including functional requirement gathering, design and development, testing of software applications and documenting requirements and technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

Researches, and assist in the development, and/or participates in hands-on installation, configuration, and maintenance of large enterprise applications. This includes troubleshooting production issues, deploying application and configuration components, automation and upgrade.
Assist in the documentation for testing and maintenance of system corrections, that will automate tasks and assist in reporting.
Assist in production support of business applications: start and stop of application instances; troubleshoot application failures and diagnosing performance or reliability issues of applications; assisting application teams in the use of custom support tools.

Must Haves:

A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in related field or equivalent work experience can be substituted instead of degree.
At least 1 years of experience in Java /J2EE development, concurrency, middleware, and/or distributed computing.

Ability to do troubleshooting.

Nice to Have:

At least 1 years of MongoDB or other Relational Databases.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
Experience working in large enterprise environments and being a part of a smaller team.
Experience with open source environments, especially in cloud environments.
