Field Co-Ops:
With Ferguson Construction Company, you will gain the hands-on experience learning each skilled trade in the business. You will be working with Full Time construction professionals as they provide guidance and share their knowledge on various tasks. You will be involved with, and have specific project responsibilities, assigned to you. Mentoring is a critical part to the success of our co-op program. Our evaluation process allows our supervisors to ensure the right amount of guidance and training on the jobsite.
Daily activities will enable you to experience applicable processes and management methods firsthand. Supervisors and project staff will structure your work efforts to help you learn about your area of interest while you contribute directly to the completion of a quality project.
We are currently seeking Construction Field Co-ops with a passion for commercial construction to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to work alongside our field craftworkers and learn how each contributes to the successful completion of the project. Our Field Co-ops assist onsite to ensure a safe work environment, quality construction, effective planning & scheduling, cost management, collaboration with project stakeholders, and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a desire for growth, long-term thinking, relationship building skills, and a growing familiarity with the construction industry.
Office Co-Ops:
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented candidates for our Construction Office Co-op position. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in construction administration, offering valuable insights into the industry. The successful candidate will support our office and contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our projects.
The Office Co-op position at Ferguson Construction Company offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction administration. This role will involve supporting our office, including Operations/Leadership support, the Project Management teams, HR Department, and Engineer, Safety & Architecture Teams while providing essential administrative assistance to ensure efficient and effective operations. Applicants must be enrolled in a similar or related field that contributes to these administrative positions.

Foundation Drill Rig Operator (SoilMec)
Columbus, OH
American Drilling and Foundations with headquarters in the Midwest has an immediate opening for an experienced Drill Rig Operator. The Drill Rig Operator will be in charge of drilling and tooling, operating company equipment, and responsible for running a crew. This position requires 100% travel (Company Paid)
Specific duties:
Operate foundation type drill rigs.
Drill holes ranging in size from 2" to 9' in diameter and up to 40'+ in depth.
Perform safety meetings on OSHA standards.
Perform minor equipment repairs on drills in the field when necessary. (i.e., replace hydraulics hoses, cables, troubleshoot electrical issues.)
Maintain equipment and be mechanically inclined with the understanding of hydraulics.
Complete drilling logs and equipment inspection reports.
Forecasting equipment, tooling and material needs while helping with the procurement of small items when needed.
Ability to travel 6 weeks at a time followed by a 7-10 day break.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to complete jobs in a timely manner.
Experienced with leading a team.
Be willing to travel and work away from home as required.
Must be familiar with Soilmec or Similar Foundation Drill Rigs
Experience with steel casings and/or drilling mud in poor soil conditions

Job Overview
As a Power Equipment Operator, you're an essential part of our behind-the-scenes team-keeping things moving so customers get what they need, when they need it. You'll operate powered equipment to handle merchandise safely and efficiently in our furniture, bedding, and fulfillment warehouses. What You Will Do
Operate Equipment Safely: Use different industrial trucks, including stock pickers and reach trucks at heights up to 40 feet. Navigate narrow aisles using power equipment to pick, pull, put away, stack, and count merchandise to meet standards.
Technology: Input data accurately and efficiently using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, or similar devices, while mastering area-specific functions across various systems (including warehouse systems and proprietary systems).
Safety: Safely work in narrow aisles and up to 40 feet high with a harness while moving equipment. Report on equipment failures, damage, accidents, and environmental issues affecting safety to the committee promptly.
Team Collaboration: Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment.
