Use electric-powered industrial trucks with lifting devices to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure the proper loading and unloading of materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, transports, load and unload to a designated area
  • List materials and record weight, counts, and condition of frozen food items via a Radio Frequency (RF) system
  • Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
  • Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process
  • Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions
  • Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work with other machinery and material handling equipment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
  • Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Operates a repetitive manufacturing process. Process could consist of stamping, welding, machining and/or assembly operation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential functions will include, but not be limited to:
-Safety
Know and follow company’s safety policies and procedures
Used required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Communicates to Supervisor safety issues or concerns -Quality Responsible for the quality of the parts being produced Where required; must know and follow the Visual Defect Guide Must know and follow the Control of Nonconforming Products procedure Responsible for knowing if a Quality alert is present and why
Should know and understand the alarm and escalation process
Responsible for placing a hold/reject tags on suspect containers at work center when a new container becomes available
-Operational
Must know and follow the work instruction
Records required data on the “Traceability Check Sheet”
Assure name is on work center training record prior to operating the machine
Must know and achieve the work center production requirements
Strips all old labels from containers and places new labels before running product into finished goods container
Responsible for stripping container of all labels, must clean inside container of all foreign debris
Responsible for completing and attaching all tracer tags as soon as on part is in the bin
Understand and complete all time tickets
Uses tracer tags to label finished (full) containers
General housekeeping of workstation
Works well with others within a team environment
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 18 years of age or older with the ability to work extended hours
- Must be able to prove United States work eligibility
- Demonstrates the skills required or aptitude and motivation to master the required skills, essential duties, and responsibilities with reasonable supervision and training
- Relevant manufacturing experience preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Reliable Transportation

What's the role?
Ops are the key executors of the' life of the deal', managing movements on bulk crude or product tankers from supply to delivery point in an operationally excellent and optimal manner, preventing profit leakage and looking for value add opportunities.Some Ops roles will be more involved with running Time charter vessels, operating Shell-leased terminals and or possibly involved in some blending activities. In these instances, Ops are expected to defend the P&L and look out for opportunities to maximize margins through effective asset utilization, preventing unnecessary downtime/demurrage or improving blend margins.Ensure that all obligations arising from the contract and charter party are executed flawlessly, in compliance with governmental and industrial regulations as well as HSSE guidelines.Daily external interface with contractual counterparties, terminal operators, vessel owners/brokers, national companies and competitors.Daily internal interface with traders, charterers, shipping, manufacturing (E&S, movements), Product Optimizers, deal makers, claims, contracts, demurrage and legal.Expected to manage supply and delivery schedules with internal and external counterparties. Ops will need to appreciate the challenges and constraints of the end-to-end supply chain, and operationalize a plan to meet those objectives, while remaining profitable and compliant.Timely and accurate ship, cargo and date range nominations to ensure supply integrity and successful implementation of commercial business/supply intent.Manage vessel operations, such as scheduling, routing, bunkering, stow planning & optimization, issuing voyage orders and monitoring fleet of vessels under your charge.Manage cargo operations, such as managing off-spec issues, cargo readiness, scheduling, blending (where applicable for more senior or specialized ops roles), avoiding tank-top/stock-out situations and volume/date-range optimization.Support post-deal activities like customs clearance, demurrage and claims for example; ensuring that all necessary operational information is passed on in good time and documentary requirements are met.Appoint independent inspectors, expeditors, ship-to-ship service providers and ships agents.Ensure that all operational data is updated into trading systems in timely and accurate manner, facilitating up-to-date and accurate information flow.Ensure that adequate records are kept to meet the company's legal and fiscal obligations.Ensure that any necessary financial security is in place prior to transfer of title to customers.Be available to manage critical out of regular office hour issues.Proactively liaise with charterers to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimize demurrage costs.
