Position Objective
This position is responsible for preventative maintenance tasks, equipment repairs and facilities maintenance at Chico’s Distribution Center both interior and exterior to include: painting, landscape work, plumbing, electrical, and other duties assigned by management.
Functional Responsibilities
- Determines extent of repairs needed; requests assistance from Senior Technician for any problems beyond area of knowledge or expertise.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance tasks such as adjusting conveyor chains, adding oil to drives, changing belts, filling equipment lubricators etc.
- Performs non-routine maintenance repairs on equipment such as motor brake adjustment, coupling alignment checks and drive train adjustments.
- Inspects, adjusts and makes minor repairs to all building systems as required.
- Troubleshoots and repairs production lines to include replacement of micro-switches, sequencing correction on conveyors, restoration of power outages etc.
- Performs routine electrical/mechanical repairs or installation such as running conduit, replacing receptacles, welding and fabrication etc.
- Assist Senior Maintenance Technician with troubleshooting and maintenance of conveyors and equipment and special facility maintenance projects.
- Maintains cleanliness of plant equipment and maintenance areas.
- Drives company vehicle for various reasons as required.
- Safely operates a variety of hand and power tools to perform skilled maintenance tasks.
- Follows detailed instructions from skilled maintenance technician or written format to repair equipment.
- Work nights and weekends as business/job necessitates.
- Utilize CMMS software to document all work on equipment.
Due to the nature of potential equipment and facilities related breakdowns, fluctuations of products and manufacturing schedules and the urgency of new equipment installations, the Maintenance Department’s working hours must be flexible and the individual must be available for scheduled overtime, and, at times, emergency overtime. Breaks and lunch times may also be flexible depending on emergency or high priority projects and assignments.

Position Description
Primary purpose:
+ The (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) SCADA Support Tech will take a role in the support and maintenance of a real-time SCADA system. The SCADA systems allow controllers in Cortez, Colorado to control and monitor pipelines and CO2 Source field operations.
+ The SCADA Support Tech will participate in, or be responsible for implementation of SCADA system projects related to new or modified facilities. This work may include application configuration, application design, graphics development, and other activities in accordance with Kinder Morgan SCADA policies, procedures, and standards.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
+ Work as part of a group to provide SCADA system administration and management functions.
+ Ensure that KM SCADA system procedures and standards are met.
+ Participate in or be directly responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of HMI graphics, reports and related applications while following existing standards.
+ Participate in or be directly responsible for working with business groups or other IT staff to provide and/ or develop data interfaces between business and SCADA applications.
+ Coordinate with Engineering, Control Center, and Operations personnel to ensure that graphics, reports, and applications design meet customer requirements.
+ Provide SCADA system hardware and software support in conjunction with appropriate IT personnel as needed.
+ Participate with IT Infrastructure personnel to review system maintenance, diagnose problems, etc. related to IT Standard operating systems and databases.
+ Participate with IT Telecommunications personnel to review network design, maintenance issues, monitoring, etc.
+ Develop documentation related to the design and the use of graphics, applications, procedures, etc.
Position Requirements
Compensation: Pay Range: $35.12 - $49.68 per hour This position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan. Job level and pay commensurate with experience and skill set.
