Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct QA/QC inspections of network cabling projects to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Perform job site inspections, report findings, and verify project scopes, including materials, equipment, and labor.
Supervise and guide cabling crews, ensuring efficiency and high-quality workmanship.
Collaborate with project managers to address deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct pre- and post-installation quality checks to validate cable connections, terminations, and overall system functionality, identifying and resolving defects or deficiencies.
Develop and implement quality control procedures, guidelines, and checklists. Maintain detailed documentation of inspections and project progress.
Train and mentor junior QC personnel to enhance skills and knowledge.
Communicate with clients and stakeholders on quality concerns and project updates.
Participate in project meetings and stay current with industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies.
Minimum Requirements
3-5 years of experience in network cabling, including fiber and copper installations.
Strong knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and quality assurance processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in cable testing tools; project management software is a plus.
Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and heights.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to lift/carry/setup a 50-pound box or ladder.
Must own low voltage tools (snips, strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches)
Able to work 2nd/3rd shift, overtime, and under pressure.
Must pass a 7-year background check, drug screen, and physical.
Requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
Professional working proficiency in English
Preferred Certifications (not required)
BICSI Technician or Installation Certification
OSHA 10
Powder Actuated Tools Certification
Confined Space Certification
CPR and First Aid certified
Manufacturers certifications for Installation and Maintenance
Lift Certified
High School diploma, Associate's degree or technical degree a plus
Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $40.00 / hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job Site Presence - Maintain a daily on-site presence during normal construction hours.
Safety Program Management - Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs for data center construction.
Safety Documentation - Create and manage Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP), Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), and Pre-Task Safety Analyses (PTSA)
Regulatory Compliance - Ensure adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations; conduct regular job site inspections.
Incident Investigation - Investigate accidents, near-misses, and hazards; recommend corrective actions.
Training & Compliance - Provide safety training and ensure workers meet required certifications.
Communication & Reporting - Serve as the primary safety contact, report incidents, and maintain documentation.
Collaboration - Work with project managers and crews to integrate safety into operations.
Equipment Oversight - Monitor proper PPE usage and ensure safety equipment is maintained.
Specialized Support (Preferred) - Assist with cabling tasks and provide safety insights for data center operations.
Minimum Requirements
***One of the three numbered points must be met to serve as a LINX Safety Officer. Please list all certifications on your resume.***
A Bachelor's Degree in Safety, plus one year of practical safety experience in the construction industry.
One of these three safety certifications, plus three years of practical safety experience in the construction industry.
STSC: Safety Trained Supervisor for Construction
CHST: Construction Health and Safety Technician
CSP: Certified Safety Professional
OR
5-years of relevant safety experience in construction plus an OSHA 30
Additional Requirements
Can proficiently develop an SSSP: Site Specific Safety Plan, JHA: Job Hazard Analysis and PTSA: Pre-Task Safety Analysis
Proven experience in on-the-job safety adherence and regulatory compliance.
Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check & drug screen.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Highly structured with strong attention to detail.
Coachable, takes direction well, and works effectively with others.
Preferred Safety Certifications & Skills
Safety Certifications (Preferred) - OSHA 510/500, STSC, CHST, CSP.
Bilingual Advantage - Fluent in English & Spanish.
Data Center Expertise - Experienced in Active Data Center Operations.
Telecom & Cabling Skills - Practical experience in network cabling, termination, and closet builds.
Construction Knowledge - Ability to read construction drawings and implement cabling pathways.

$28.00 - $35.00/hour
