The Medical Assistant facilitates health care service to women and children residing in Residential Treatment Program for Women and Children in South Los Angeles. The Medical Assistant upholds the JWCH mission to improve the health status and wellbeing of under-served segments of the population of Los Angeles County. Assists with toxicology testing, submission and results Coordinates with Nurse to conduct intake assessment, including Health Questionnaire with new admits and their children Assists with COVID-19 testing with new patient admissions and ongoing testing as needed.
