    Role & Responsibilities Brosz Engineering is currently seeking a Civil Engineer Technician to join our growing Roadway Engineering team. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and work well in a team environment. The Civil Engineer Technician will be directly responsible for the preparation of technical reports, plans, interpret specifications, and provide technical services specific to Roadway Engineering which includes highways, roadways, bridges, drainage structures, and miscellaneous roadway facilities. Involvement includes design efforts throughout all phases of the project, provide support to other personnel on a project team. Plan, model, and design roadway projects to meet the scope of work expectations and produce the required deliverables. Analyze current roadway and related systems and perform problem solving using practical creative thinking skills. The preparation of technical reports, environmental documents, and permit applications will be required tasks. The selected candidate will collaborate with the Project Managers and other members of the project team. Collaboration with several entities such as other engineering disciplines, planning districts, funding and regulatory agencies, and equipment suppliers may be required. Maintain a high level of professionalism with the Company's clients in an accurate and timely manner and must adhere to the best practices, standards, procedures, and policies of the Company. Engineering Technicians in Roadway Engineering at times may be required to provide Construction Administration and oversight activities in the field to ensure adherence to contract requirements. This can include construction observation, inspection, material testing in the field, material testing in the lab, and assisting with surveying. The candidate may also work in other engineering departments and groups on occasion to support the company's workload and project needs. Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
