Responsibilities
Sets up, adjusts, and efficiently operates CNC machine tools to perform diversified and difficult operations requiring close/exact tolerances on products with various dimensions and unusual contours and finish specifications.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials into machine.
Maintains and inspects cutting tools for sharpness and usability.
Calculates and sets controls and programming to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls as required.
Basic programming skills.
Cleans and maintains machine, tooling, and parts to ensure that equipment is in optimal production condition.
Maintains and edits CNC programs to fine tune process for optimum performance.

â–º Key Areas of Responsibility
Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
Performs distribution functions as needed.
Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels. Logs date and ID number of cartons of product to maintain a FIFO inventory and to identify any QC problems with raw materials.
Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

Job Description
The Floating Operator is assigned to work on a variety of tasks throughout the Reflective plant including but not limited to Material Handling, R1, R2, Finishing, Metalizer, Inks and Shipping/Receiving as the primary responsibility. The Floating Operator will support the team in providing flexibility across all areas of the operation to meet production and customer demand.

Leads product life cycle planning, development, and market introduction for assigned digital technologies and connected services. Collaborates with engineering, R&D, and service teams to drive continuous improvement of digital-enabled equipment and service offerings.
