What You'll Do:
Update patient medical records, and conduct X-ray procedures, including panoramic images and intraoral photographs
Record periodontal charting and prepare instruments and equipment for Provider exams
Mix exam materials with awareness of infection control, perform preventative care like fluoride treatments
Monitor nitrous oxide analgesia under Provider supervision (Only in Washington)
Educate patients on oral hygiene in clinic and school-based programs
Assist in patient infection control program, sterilize instruments/equipment
May assist in Orthodontics including obtaining patient records, bite registrations, patient models, fabricating orthodontic retainers, and placing/removing ligature ties
May perform Lead duties by maintaining the daily flow of the department and acting as a liaison between line staff and the direct supervisor. Manage breaks, lunches, sick calls, and overtime. Provide insights to leaders regarding the skill level and performance of the employees. Responsible for providing training to new employees and existing staff when needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
BLS certification within 90 days
Dental Assistant Registration or EFDA certification
NOTE: Dental Assistants who have not received their Dental Assistant registration from the State of Washington will not be allowed to perform the Essential Functions of the job until it is received. Prior to this time, a Dental Assistant will be allowed to observe patient care and assist with paperwork and receptionist roles only.
Dental Assistant Registration must be completed within 7 days of hire unless specifically approved by the Clinic Administrator.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 10 for differential pay
Basic knowledge of medical/dental terminology, dental anatomy, dental materials/instruments, infection control techniques, and oral health care instruction

What You'll Do:
Provides care during patient visits, discussing chief complaint and obtaining vital signs and complete health history for the patient. Develops a baseline physical assessment.

Qualifications:

Position Summary:
The essential duties of this position will be to ensure only good quality product is being produced and packaged. This position will assist with the loading and packaging of product onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory. Non-Permanent Administrative Assistant 3 (AA3) Coyote Ridge Corrections Center (CRCC) The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill one full time non-permanent Administrative Assistant 3 (AA3) position, at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center. COYOTE RIDGE CORRECTIONS CENTER (CRCC) is located on a 60-acre site about 40 miles north of the Tri-Cities. CRCC is comprised of two-complexes. The Medium Security Complex (MSC) is a 2,048 bed facility that houses Incarcerated Individuals (I/I) with Medium and MI3 Custody. MSC consists of 4 Hybrid units and 4 Medium units. The Minimum Security Unit (MSU) is a 480 bed facility that houses assisted living and MI2 Custody I/I. MSU consists of 2 units. This is a work/program orientated facility that offers many educational, vocational, and self-help programs and Class II and Class III Correctional Industries work programs.

* Reviews recommendations to include investigations for thoroughness/accuracy prior to Superintendent's approval.
* Makes recommendations to Risk Management on validity of claim, and level of monetary damages, if applicable.
* Identifies tort claim trends and reports to management.
* Management of DOC Policies and Operational Memorandums
* Includes distribution and tracking of DOC Policies and Operational Memorandums (OM).
* Development and management of all facility OMs, ensuring updated OMs reflect policy changes, documentation of annual review of all OMs and ensuring incarcerated individuals have access to authorized policies/OMs.
* Assists with Legal Liaison Officer (LLO) duties, Operational Review audits, filing, ordering office supplies, responding to offender kites, creating spreadsheets and assisting other departments with tasks, etc.
Required:
* High school graduation or GED and three years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative work. Formal education will substitute year-for-year for experience.
* Ability to organize and maintain archives.
* Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with basic computer programs including, but not limited to MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.
* Demonstrated ability to write clearly, factually, concisely and grammatically correctly.

Summary:
The Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Essential Work Functions:
Evaluate patients' physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment need
Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of devices
Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and accurately document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Work closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize treatment outcomes
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to promote long-term functional recovery
Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards while addressing patients' comfort needs during therapy sessions
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices in physical therapy
Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions and continued patient progress in community or home-based settings
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice

Substance Use Disorder Professional, Program Specialist 4- SARU Coyote Ridge Corrections Center (CRCC) Connell, WA The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the role of licensed SUDP Program Specialist 4- SARU for the Coyote Ridge Corrections Center (CRCC) located in Connell, WA just outside of the Tri Cities.
The Substance Abuse Recovery Unit (SARU) is responsible for the implementation of evidence-based practices and operational support to facilitate individual participation in promising practices/programs designed to decrease recidivism, which increases staff, incarcerated individual, and public safety.
The Department of Corrections, in collaboration with its criminal justice partners, will contribute to staff and community safety and hold incarcerated individuals accountable by conducting appropriate substance use disorder assessments and treatment to assess the risk and needs of the population and by providing services to address the risks and needs across the continuum in the least restrictive setting needed to ensure protection of staff, incarcerated individuals and public.
This position will work in the capacity as a licensed Substance Use Disorder Treatment Counselor, providing assessments (using DOC 14-040 Substance Use Disorder Assessment), Level 3.3 Substance Use Disorder Treatment services in accordance with the ASAM Criteria Manual, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5), and the Washington State Administrative Code (WAC's). Substance Use Disorder assessments and treatment are based on nationally recognized assessment and treatment criteria. This position requires, by state law (WAC ************ (1)(b)), specialized training, DOH certification, and client case management to include maintaining treatment records law WAC's and Federal Confidentiality laws 42 CFR Part 2. This is an expert level position within the SARU treatment program which advises the SARU Program Administrator, SARU Correctional Program Manager, and SARU Corrections Specialist 3, and executive leadership within the Department of Corrections regarding substance use disorder assessment and treatment. Assessment and treatment outcomes may be utilized by executive level representatives from all divisions within the Department of Corrections. The TC Specialist functions under limited supervision and routinely makes independent judgement/interpretations working in multi-dimensional assessment and treatment dynamics. In addition, this position responds to both external and internal stakeholders on behalf of SARU regarding treatment progress and compliance.

Provide treatment services in a variety of SUD treatment modalities to include 2.1 Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and level 2.5 Intensive Day Treatment (IDT)
* Facilitate education and process groups, case management, individual counseling, treatment plan development and maintenance, evaluate treatment effectiveness and client outcomes (write discharge summaries), expert level record keeping and documentation, participate in multidisciplinary teams, present and participate in clinical staffing, and maintain a caseload.
* Utilize critical thinking and subject matter expertise to accurately, reliably and consistently provide evidence-based Treatment services.
Utilize critical thinking while maintaining fidelity using ASAM Criteria for continued stay reviews, Individual service plan reviews and discharge planning and writing.
Ensure chronological notes are entered according to established CFR 42 Part 2 and Policy 580.000 criteria.
Update clinical notes utilizing clear and concise skills per WAC 246-341-640.

Required qualifications:
Ability to work independently and within a team while exercising good judgement and promoting positive working relationships with incarcerated individuals, staff, and stakeholders.
Certification as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (initial and continuous unencumbered licensure in Washington State).
