This position will perform work with the courseware production team to design and develop graphic/visual effects used in courseware material. Primary Duties: Requires use of specialized computer software to develop high quality computer illustrations, technical drawings, and animations supporting various media used within the training curriculum. Capable of using specialized hardware and/or software for video/audio capture and editing of multimedia presentations, incorporates principles of layout design throughout the courseware production process, and is responsible for quality control, review and revision of all aspects of graphics development. Collaborate with others to develop or refine designs. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects. NAVAIR experience within a Government Acquisition Integrated Product Team (IPT) to include cost, schedule and/or performance. Clearance: This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance. Compensation: While skills, education, and experience are key factors, they are not the sole determinants of salary. Other determining factors include but are not limited to location, contract budgets and requirements, and government labor category guidelines.
