The Plant Engineer's essential functions include:

* Develop, plan, and implement process or product improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
* Provide technical support to production and maintenance groups.
* Develop processes to maximize capacity utilization, minimize cost and provide statistically sound product performance.
* Work in cross-functional teams to support plant business goals and objectives.

Working in this integral leadership position, your key responsibilities are ensuring Environmental, Health, and Safety results, productivity improvements, employee development, maximizing the value of diversity, and customer delivery through implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles, including Daily Management, TPM, 5S, etc. The Operations Superintendent will ensure consistent implementation and execution of policies and systems in order to guarantee customer (internal and external) expectations are met at the lowest cost and always with safety at the forefront of every activity.

• Hands on experience in Lean Manufacturing, ISO, Six Sigma is a plus.
• Preferred experience in working knowledge of coil coating, coil slitting, metal rolling processes, environmental regulations, metal planning, and standards-based operating is desired.
