Perform accurate data entry and maintain thorough patient records in compliance with HIPPA regulations, federal/state laws, and pharmacy accreditation standards. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patient inquiries and coordinating with healthcare providers to resolve medication-related issues. Handle prior authorizations, insurance verifications, and billing for specialty medications. Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage and handling of specialty drugs. Support quality assurance processes to ensure the safe and effective delivery of medications. Assist other Scripps Health ambulatory pharmacies with medication orders and fulfillment Experience/Specialized Skills: High school diploma or equivalent.
