Location: Logan Health Medical Center - Kalispell, Montana Schedule: Evening Shift - 10 Hours | Full-Time Your Role: As a Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech), you'll perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and play a vital role in providing safe, accurate imaging services that assist with diagnosis and treatment. What You'll Do: Perform diagnostic imaging exams following department protocols and ALARA principles. Assess and support patients physically and emotionally before, during, and after imaging procedures. Collaborate with providers and radiology team members to ensure accurate imaging and patient care. Assist with exam preparation, venipuncture (as applicable), and post-procedure instructions. Ensure timely documentation, image quality assurance, and protocol compliance. Monitor and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to leadership. Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe imaging environment. What You'll Need: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required). ARRT Certification in Radiology (required). Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required). Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required. ARRT Certification in Radiology required. Current and valid Montana State license in Radiological Technology required. RQI Responder CPR certificate required. Possess knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office preferred. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently. Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Job Specific Duties: Performs and documents assessment of the patient utilizing available information and incorporating the patient's perception of illness/condition. Assists provider with examinations and procedures as directed and in accordance with established scope of practice as applicable to assigned area(s). Maintains an understanding of current exam protocols as applicable to assigned area(s). Works in collaboration with the radiology department to ensure the most up to date protocols are followed. Accurately and efficiently transcribes and implements provider orders and treatments. Consistently problem solves issues affecting patient care. Follows current exam protocols to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as applicable to assigned area(s). Maintains accountability to technologist competency/quality control standards. Reviews QA report and takes appropriate action as indicated. Assists with maintaining and coordinating repairs and services as needed. Monitors equipment for malfunction and alerts leadership per department procedures and protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s). Location: Logan Health Medical Center - Kalispell, Montana Schedule: Variable Shift | Full-Time - 40 Hours Your Role: As a CT Scan Technologist, you'll utilize advanced, non-invasive computerized medical technology to take detailed CT images, helping diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring all techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles. Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams. What You Need: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required). Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required). Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required). Current BLS CPR certification (required). Current Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT (preferred), OR must be successfully obtained within 18 months of hire (required). Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required. Montana State Radiologic Technologist License as required by law. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Current BLS CPR certification required. Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT preferred or must be successfully obtained within eighteen (18) months of hire. Accurately performs beginning and end of day duties as defined in department procedures. Responsible for stocking assigned area(s) and assists with supply outdates. Exhibits proper radiation and/or magnet safety as appropriate to assigned area(s). Accurately reports all malfunctioning equipment and/or errors per department protocol. Documents safety related issues and outcomes. Obtains patient history, reason for procedure, and other exam related information. Evaluates information to ensure appropriate scan to ensure proper diagnosis. Communicates any questions or concerns per department protocol. Responsible for patient preparation related to the exam. Exhibits proper venipuncture techniques, and I-stat competencies, etc. Provides the patient with follow-up, exam information and post exam procedures as applicable to assigned area(s). Responsible for reviewing orders, prior exams, labs, and patient history per department standards. Accurately completes appropriate documentation related to exam.
