How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the equipment and tooling located in Central Tooling and in the Tool Rooms. The major responsibilities include but are not limited to the disassembly, cleaning, repair, assembly, inspection, calibration and testing of aircraft tooling to help assure safe, on-time departures of Delta's aircraft. The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This position requires the Tool Room Attendant to be thorough in their work and to provide the highest level of quality. This position also requires outside work. Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): + Handles tool servicing, cutting and repairs, shipping tools, periodically checking, replacing or repairing various items, and tool inventory management. + Interacts with AMTs to assist in tooling needs and uses their knowledge to match tooling requirements with maintenance being performed on the aircraft. + Responsible for the movement and support of tooling to support both the Delta operation and our MRO operation. + Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Job Title: Inspector NDT - 2nd Shift Department: NDT OSC (Dept. 63) Reports To: Supervisor or Senior Inspector Inspect aircraft and components for discrepancies using various NDT disciplines. Inspect and evaluate work performed by mechanics, sheet metal mechanics, and avionics technicians to ensure the proper rework of discrepancies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Review the scope and detail of inspection requirements and inspect aircraft and components by obtaining and interpreting work cards. Complete a visual inspection and/or NDT inspection of aircraft areas opened by mechanics, including by not limited to fuel tanks, empennage, cargo areas, underfloor areas, fuselage skin, engines, pylons, wings, flight control surfaces, flight decks, and landing gear. -Identify non-routine work on aircraft systems, including but not limited to engine performance, pneumatic/hydraulics, pressurization, air conditioning, electrical, fuel, and flight controls. Identify the location of discrepancies by using fuselage body stations and butt lines. -Interpret and ensure compliance with all maintenance manual Instructions, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and flee campaign directives. -Ensure that safety procedures are followed and overseeing aircraft handling activities, including but not limited to jacking, fueling, defueling, and towing, minimizes potential damage to company property. -Perform a receiving inspection for new and continued service parts to ensure serviceability, including but not limited to verifying certification from the manufacturer or overhaul facility, and inspecting for shipping damage. Maintaining control and inventory for the QC Bond quarantine cage, including submitting reports of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPs) to the Director of Quality Control. -Conduct a weight and balance analysis by using approved maintenance manuals and scales. -Ensure completion of logbook entries and release the aircraft as airworthy for test flight or flight operation checks. -Ensure compliance with II applicable FAA regulations during the course of day-to-day assignments. -Perform visual and dimensional Inspections of articles and determine serviceability and/or repair requirements by obtaining, reviewing, and interpreting Inspections requirements. -Ensure proper rework of discrepancies by inspecting and evaluating work performed by shop mechanics/technicians. -Ensure completion of maintenance entries and work records for all articles Inspected. -Perform any other duties as assigned by the Inspection Supervisor or Senior Inspector. -Requires travel, individual must be willing to travel. The Associate Designer I supports the material management and selection process for the interior modifications projects under the guidance of the Lead Designer(s). This position works with the design group, sales, marketing, engineering, production and the client to support, create and finalize the refurbishment of aircraft interiors. The Paint Specialist silver tapes and chemically strips aircraft; masks, sands and prepares aircraft surface for priming; primes overalls; and prepares aircraft surface for and paints stripes and some overall base painting according to manufacturer's specifications, Duncan Aviation approved procedures, and customer specifications in a safe and clean environment using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and fall protection. Inspects painted and reports quality issues to crew leader or team leader. 6. Assures quality for assigned areas through visual inspection and performs final pre-paint prep by blowing, wiping and tacking entire surface to be painted. Identifies problem areas such as fuel leaks, sky-drol leaks, etc. and reports problems to crew leader or team leader. 7.
