Job Description JOB TITLE: AOG Purchaser DEPARTMENT: Materials REPORTS TO: Materials Manager JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Purchaser is responsible for providing logistic support to our Maintenance Control by facilitating and managing the movement of parts for routine and non-routine workload. This includes sourcing and arranging transportation of parts and tools for grounded aircraft and ensuring parts availability for scheduled workload, deferrals and maintenance material work stoppage situations. This critical position will support a 24/7/365 operation at Kalitta Air maintenance line and out stations where parts and tools are required for daily operations. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: Purchasing, borrowing, and shipping of deferred maintenance items and AOG material using Kalitta Air's computer database (AMOS). Ensure that materials are purchased at or below fair market value and ensure that the required certification meets Kalitta Air standards in accordance with GMM Section 5.2. Maintain effective communications and coordinate with Maintenane Control, Line maintenance stations and Maintenance contractors to support the fleet's operation with minimal interruptions. Ensure that parts providers are on the Approved Maintenance Provider List or have been approved by the Kalitta Air Quality Assurance Department for a limited usage. Maintain inventory control for the aircraft Fly Away Kits to ensure that the FAK is stocked with serviceable parts. Coordinate with FME's to compile monthly shelf-life expiry reports, identifying expired and/ or expiring items and arranging for their replacement. Track and control all loaned / borrowed parts via electronic means. Ensure that borrowed parts are returned to the appropriate provider as required. Minimize borrowing events and the duration of each event to control cost. Provide an accurate turnover of the current situational status between shifts. Perform any other duties assigned by the AOG Purchasing Supervisor. Title: Airline Catering Coordinator Department: Ground Services / OCC Ground Division Reports To : Manager of Ground Services The Airline Catering Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of all catering operations for Kalitta Air worldwide. This role ensures that all crew catering requirements are fulfilled in accordance with Kalitta Air's operational standards, cost controls, and quality expectations. The position works closely with the Ground Services Department, Crew Committee, Procurement, and Flight Operations to maintain consistency, accountability, and service excellence across all catering vendors and stations. Primary Responsibilities Operational Coordination Plan, coordinate, and confirm all catering uplifts for Kalitta Air scheduled and charter operations, including B747 and B777 fleet. Monitor daily flight schedules and coordinate directly with stations and catering vendors to ensure timely catering delivery in line with departure requirements. Track all changes to flight routing, crew complement and ensuring accurate adjustments to catering orders. Communicate catering uplift schedules and ensure all updates are reflected in station instructions and OCC planning systems. Vendor Management Serve as the primary point of contact between Kalitta Air and catering providers at all international and domestic locations. Evaluate vendor performance, ensuring compliance with Kalitta Air's service standards, and cost agreements. Coordinate corrective action and service recovery measures when deficiencies are identified. Support vendor audits, qualification reviews. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in airline catering coordination, flight service management, or ground operations. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. The Parts Runner distributes materials and correspondence throughout the entire campus and to off-site locations, by walking and/or driving company vehicles. This position is required to use our existing system to scan barcodes on all items they handle, pick up or deliver.
