Our Server/Cashiers exemplify Farmer Boys' brand image as the first point of contact with our Guests. You deliver exemplary customer service before, during and after taking orders. Server/Cashiers take orders, manage registers, maintain the dining room and work the drive thru. Experience is great, but not required. We love to teach if you love to learn. We'll provide hands on training and online courses to prepare you for great things.

About the Role
We are seeking a Vice President, West Region Manager in Evolution's Primary Casualty department, based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco. In this role, you'll lead the Wholesale Primary Casualty business across the West Region, taking ownership of Gross Written Premium while ensuring profitability and maintaining the integrity of the book of business. Your underwriting focus will be on General Liability and Commercial Auto lines of coverage.
Since all accounts are written exclusively through the Wholesale distribution channel, your familiarity with the market and producer relationships will be essential. You'll report directly to the Vice President and Head of E&S Primary Casualty, and you'll be a key member of the regional leadership team.
You can expect to travel throughout the Western Region, with occasional travel across the country.
As a motivational leader, you'll coach, mentor, and develop a growing team with varying levels of experience. You'll provide strategic direction to the practice and your team by collaborating closely with senior management and functional leaders across the organization.
Your Responsibilities:
Manage a team of both in-office and remote underwriters in the West Region
Regularly forecast production relative to the regional plan
Underwrite and accept referrals for new and renewal accounts to meet department standards
Build and maintain a diverse and profitable book of business
Develop and sustain productive relationships with appointed wholesale brokers
Collaborate effectively with Actuarial, Claims, Loss Control, Operations, Finance, and IT
Stay informed about competitor strategies and capabilities, as well as broader market trends
What You Bring:
A bachelor's degree in business or a related field (insurance designations are a plus)
10+ years of relevant casualty underwriting experience, with a proven ability to support leadership in driving a profitable portfolio
Deep expertise in General Liability and Commercial Auto coverage forms
Strong communication and presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal and employee development abilities
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. Qualifications
What you bring to the table

What you'll do
Sketch, design, build, analyze, validate, and refine robust mechanical and electromechanical designs for low volumes through mass production--on paper, through physical prototyping, and in 3D CAD.
Engage in and support business development.
Collaborate within cross-disciplinary teams to conduct research, brainstorm, prototype, test, analyze, document, and present work to clients.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table
BS or MS in mechanical engineering or a related field and 6+ years' experience in an engineering or design-related industry.
Experience solving tough problems within one or more of the following areas: mechatronics, structural design, dynamics, thermal engineering, fluid dynamics, optics, controls, acoustics, precision mechanical systems, product engineering, and design for manufacturing. A broad range is a plus.
Proficiency with 3D modeling CAD (Solidworks preferred) and engineering analysis tools (Python, MatLab, FEA tools, etc).

Additional Information
Hybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week. However, the actual time you spend and where you spend it will vary by role or assignment, including up to 5 days per week on a client site or at the office.

This salary range is specific to the State of California and is commensurate with experience, market data, applicant skills, internal equity and/or degrees/certifications. California Salary: Low = $149,500 - High: $173,000

We're Looking For·

Previous Customer Service and/or restaurant experience a plus·
Able to read, speak, take direction and comprehend written instructions in the English language·
