Prinsco has created a new opportunity for a PLC Technician. In this new role, the individual will travel up to 40% of the time to plants throughout the US, supporting our growth in automation. This position will:
+ Develop, install, and maintain machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages, documenting all steps.
+ Test automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability, determining testing criteria before the final launch into production.
+ Train operators in program operations and troubleshooting, working to continuously improve processes.

The ideal candidate will have:
+ A technical degree in process controls, mechatronics, robotics, or similar field required.
+ A minimum of one year of hands-on industrial or production maintenance experience working with PLC programming.
+ Extensive knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, sequential function charts, function block diagrams, sequential flowcharts, instruction lists, etc.
