Responsibilities:
Support moderate size projects and or processes at the site to ensure that each meets all safety, quality, and reliability requirements. Provides support to teams with limited oversight by direct line manager.
Own smaller projects, low to medium complexity deviations, or process improvements at the site level.
Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to remediate issues, improve yields, and/or increase reliability and process robustness.
Communicate and collaborate with colleagues to provide support for technical reviews, projects or process with limited oversight by manager.
Responsible for continuous process improvement and technology optimization.
Demonstrate a growth mind set actively developing relevant knowledge and skills. Assist and support team members through knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
Technical experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degree.
2-5 years or more working within in a Process Engineering role within industry. Master’s degree with 0-2 years of experience.
Experience within regulated environments. Pharmaceutical/Biotech Operations, Chemical Manufacturing or similar are preferred.
Experience with regulated environments (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA) preferred.
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, colleagues, contractors, and management.
Action oriented skills; ability to learn on the fly.
Good problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skill.
Ability to work and collaborate with a range of cultures with team members in different countries.
