ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assist in Therapy Implementation: SLPAs help licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in executing therapy plans for clients with speech and language disorders. This includes conducting individual or group therapy sessions under supervision. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client performance and progress during therapy sessions, ensuring that all documentation is organized and up-to-date. Preparation of Materials: Prepare therapy materials and equipment for sessions, ensuring that all necessary tools are available for effective treatment. Client Interaction: Provide feedback to clients and their families regarding progress and strategies to improve communication skills.
