Cons of working at Kappa Delta Pi

The CEO has created a toxic work environment at Kappa Delta Pi. Regardless of your position or to whom the organizational chart shows you reporting, the CEO will micromanage your projects and lecture you until she gets her way. You will spend more time dodging landmines than being productive in this environment. Furthermore, the CEO talks to staff in a venomous way, speaks negatively of team members behind their backs, and has even openly made comments and assumptions about staff based on race and ethnicity on multiple occasions. The CEO was hired in 2020 and immediately made several sweeping strategic changes to the organization. Since then, membership has decreased by nearly 50%, the budget is in critical condition (several staff positions have since been eliminated as a result), and team morale is at an all-time low. Rather than taking accountability, she has created a culture of finger pointing, which has spread among staff at every level. This was a much different place to work prior to 2020, under its previous management. Given the organization's current state of self-destruction, Kappa Delta Pi is on track for bankruptcy within the next five years. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
