The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient workplace. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues and assisting with facility upgrades and repairs. Pay Range: $23.76-$27.32 Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues such as lighting, doors, furniture, and minor plumbing or electrical concerns. Assist in maintaining heating and cooling systems, including filter changes and equipment checks. Conduct general carpentry, painting, and minor renovation tasks as needed. Assist in maintaining fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and safety equipment. Monitor and report any potential safety hazards within the facility. Support external vendors and contractors during repairs, installations, and inspections. Assist in office moves, furniture assembly, and space reconfigurations. Qualifications * High school dipolma * 3+ year's experience in electrical troubleshooting experience * Experience troubleshooting / repair of testing equipment. * Dynamometer troubleshooting and repair experience preferred. * 3 year's Experience troubleshooting and repair of Hydraulic systems and servo controlled actuators * Experience in Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance and use of calibration equipment, and tooling * Self-directed, motivated, and organized individual who is willing to accept responsibility and complete tasks on time. * Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). * Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as requested. * Must be team oriented. Electrical Maintenance Technician Summary: Under general supervision, performs advanced and expert level troubleshooting, diagnoses, repair, maintenance and reconditioning, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications of machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, hydraulic systems and pumps, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs self-directed reactive and planned maintenance which includes but is not limited to observing devices in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examines parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; tests for electrical and hydraulic circuitry and mechanical systems; orders supplies and repair items as necessary. Acts as a proactive project manager and works closely with the maintenance manager. Analyzes and recommends engineered solutions to failures. Lays out, wire, builds, and troubleshoots electrical panels and/or other machinery to NFPA/NEC standards. Provides leadership and assistance to lower level technicians.
