    REPORTS TO: General Manager of Finance DESCRIPTION: Direct the financial affairs of various manufacturing sites under your supervision. Prepares financial analysis of operation, including interim and financial statements with supporting schedules to provide guidance and decision support to management. Maintain the company's system of accounts and adhere to company policies regarding recordkeeping. Accurately book and record all company transactions and safeguard assets according to GAAP/IFRS principles and best practices. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, instruct and maintain other planning and control procedures as well as perform variance reporting and KPI tracking. Supervise two support staff analysts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support accounting policies for the company and prepares reports that outline the company's financial position in the areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and future obligations Serve as a key business partner with various site managers with a focus on driving growth and improving margins Prepare 3mth rolling forecasts and revised annual forecast for all assigned sites. Oversee preparation of plant and customer level profit and loss reporting. Prepare and explain variances between actual performance and forecast in a written narrative for management, assure that variances are analyzed and that appropriate the response is taken. Lead efforts to track project and program costs, including R&D, engineering labor, material, and any expense items charged to the project or program. This includes analysis of variances of other anomalies which may rise. Recommend revisions to budgets and business plans on interim basis in response to changing business conditions. Provide financial information and partner with local plant management to attain financial and operational objectives. Oversee execution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operating reports for the plants (capacity, cost savings, weekly ops metrics, plant and customer KPI reviews). Facilitate and strengthen communications and business relationship between finance and the other functional areas of the business. Lead efforts to create and promote a cost-conscious culture centered around lean manufacturing principles. Coordinate and liaise with HQ corporate accounting team regarding period end close (JE and account reconciliations) and ongoing finance operations (Accounts Payable, Billing, Collections). Direct preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reports for the plants and ensure timely submission to corporate finance. Oversee execution of periodic reporting and analysis of plant prepared financial records (Inventory Valuation, Revenue Recognition [cut-off] Analysis, Pre-paid Expenses, Accrued Liabilities, among others. Oversee administrative, financial and operational systems and procedures for the sites under supervision. Partner with production control teams to provide finance support for quarterly physical inventory counts Assure that accounting and financial control procedures meet company standards Direct financial analysis to support business decisions in areas of capital investment, staffing levels, review of cost-drivers, process improvements, product costing and pricing. Review and approve all operating supply and MRO purchase requisitions for the assigned sites. Support audit of financial records by external and internal auditors Present plant and customer performance information in monthly meetings Supervise and provide mentorship to support staff analysts EDUCATION: BS-BA degree in Finance or Accounting CPA, CMA or MBA preferred EXPERIENCE: Three to five years' experience in accounting in private industry, desirable automotive-manufacturing environment. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience Knowledge of computer-based operations and associated programs SKILLS: Thorough knowledge on accounting principles and accounting systems Must possess above average math skills. What you will be doing: This person is responsible for all facets of supporting the Automotive area and expertise in all aspects of industrial maintenance and performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, read blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Operate mill, lathe, drill press and other machine shop tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, or tools. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and facilities. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists. PLC troubleshooting experience. Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting and repair. Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery using standard and specialized hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment. Install conduit and related hardware to power equipment, repair motor control systems and electrical equipment and replace light fixtures. What you will bring along: High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2-4 years of related experience Automotive experience preferred Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Good written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented Excellent time-management skills with great attention to organization Excellent people skills Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office with some knowledge of HRIS systems Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and large numbers of employees Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations. Job Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: * Repair and maintain progressive stamping dies. * Sharpen and shim progressive stamping dies to provide proper die operation. * Troubleshoot progressive stamping dies to determine required maintenance and modifications required. * Collaborate with designers and programmers for the development of drawings, programs and scope of work for rebuilding die details as needed. * Determine useful life of dies and instruct manufacturing on required die maintenance. * Set up and operate CNC Lathe and Milling machines. * Interpret blueprints and guide sheets. * Operate CNC Machine Centers from programs downloaded from the programmer. * Collaborate with the programmer on the job to ensure a solid understanding of the requirements. * Modifies the program to work around unplanned challenges. * Program small jobs at the CNC controller when a program is not available. * Use standard measuring devices as needed (calipers, micrometers, vision system, etc.) * Conduct necessary inspection to ensure conformity to specifications. * Perform some hand finishing, parts cleaning, and other general tasks. * Ability to set up and operate all conventional machinery. * Heat treat components as required * Build objects from blueprints with close tolerances. * Comply with standards and procedures of Dana's Health and Safety Procedures and Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. * Complete Housekeeping duties in assigned area or project area daily and/or when required. * Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications. * Complete required paperwork. * Perform other job responsibilities as assigned. Education and/or Experience: * High School diploma or G.E.D. is required. * Must have 4 years combined Technical School Training and or job experience in a non-production environment. Requirements: * Willing to work necessary overtime, including weekends. * Must have personal tools as required for the job. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints. * Knowledge of shop math and trigonometry * Must be self motivated and able to work with little supervision. * Must have the ability to get along with others in a team environment. * Must have good metallurgy knowledge including heat treating. * Have extensive knowledge in the construction of stamping dies.
