Additionally provides input to Maintenance Engineering Changes (MEC), Estimated Cost of Damage preparation (ECOD) and assist in the recommendation of changes to (MWO). Individuals must be able to prioritize workloads and are required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks. Mechanic IIs can inspect Mechanic IIs and Is. This mechanic maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components, applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation, and applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals. Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraftmechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts, requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have basic knowledge of electrical theory, must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers. This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records. Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects. May require specialization in sheet-metal, electric work, avionics or other aircraft systems related disciplines.
Responsibility: To perform Intermediate level maintenance and modifications on SE, IMRL and aircraft components in the physical custody of Fleet Readiness Center West Detachment China Lake, in support of VX-9 and VX-31 and outlying areas covered under the IMRL program.
Skill and Knowledge: Shall have the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions in various aircraft systems and be able to perform general Intermediate Level maintenance and possess one or more of the specialties of the assigned aircraft below:

* Attended Quality Assurance Admin course or Equivalent.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Individual (I) Aircraft Maintenance Qualification

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Amusement Ride Mechanic to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of amusement rides and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and guest safety.

Responsibilities:

* Use hand tools, power tools, machines, specific and general aviation test measurement and diagnostic equipment.
* Inspect, repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft components/sub components to include rigging of flight control.
* Read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
* Confined space operations to include fuel cell entry
* Support Equipment (SE) operation and inspections
* General aircraft maintenance
* Requisition repair parts, materials, and consumable supplies through military supply system.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Five or more years rotary wing maintenance experience
* Previously certified Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) for Line and/or Power Plants
* Completed NATEC Course Automated Track and Balancing System (ATABS)
* Basic Corrosion Control
* Previously certified Hydraulic Contamination
* Previously certified H-1 Plane Captain
Basic Qualifications:
* Two or more years' rotary aircraft maintenance experience
* Must achieve Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) AH-1Z & UH-1Y designation for DOL Skill within 90 days of hire
* Must be able to work shift maintenance as required.
* Must be able work flexible work-week schedules as required.
* Must be able to climb ladders, raised platforms, and work on top of and below aircraft
* Must be able to use hand and power tools.
* Must have dexterity to handle small parts.
* Must be able to deploy to support off station exercises and perform other support duties as assigned.
* Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check Local Records Check and Credit (NACLC) or Access National Agency Check.

Employees receive a minimum health and welfare benefit of $2.65 per hour paid up to 40 hours per week.

Summary
Maintain proper operation of all heating, ventilating, and air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Guide the capital replacement process to ensure up to date well-functioning HVAC equipment.
Job Duties
Adjust space temperatures to maintain proper environment.
Assume the role of Indoor Air Quality Officer.
Conduct HVAC flow and temperature analysis.
Coordinate shutdown of essential systems with Facilities Director/Manager/affected departments.
Drives, Combustion testing, Air balancing & distribution.
Has a thorough Technical understanding and working knowledge of all the mechanical systems in the hospital, as well as its satellite buildings including, but not limited to, Air handling units, Electronic and pneumatic controls, Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, Heat exchangers, Exhaust systems, Refrigeration systems.
Have technical understanding and the capabilities of executing the following analysis evaluation and recommendations with regards to the systems mentioned above, as well as, Thermodynamics (heat loads, transfer, and loss), and Fluid dynamics (air & liquid flow, pressure drops & resistance). Psychometrics, Variable Frequency.
Investigate, evaluate, and conduct an engineering analysis of equipment or system problems and report findings and recommendations to the Facility Manager.
Is responsible for cost-effective, efficient operation of all major HVAC systems without manufacturer support. Make necessary repairs and/or adjustments to all HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Is responsible for Refrigeration Management Plan.
Maintain and operate chiller plant in accordance with Director/Facility Manager directives.
Perform all work in accordance with local, state, federal, JCAHO code compliance and complies with all hospital policies and procedures.
Perform snow removal and fire and disaster duties as assigned.
Perform preventive maintenance and adjustments to pneumatic control systems.
Responsible for maintaining the preventative maintenance, repair, servicing, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ventilation equipment, and other related equipment.
Responsible for maintaining the preventive maintenance program for all air handling units, cleaning of all air handling units, and filter PM program. Plans and determines activities to accomplish assigned and repetitive jobs.
Supervise and maintain daily operation of all heating ventilating and air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Supervise personnel in annual preventive maintenance of centrifugal and reciprocal chillers and the cooling towers.
Will supervise/maintain the preventative maintenance, repair, servicing and installation of HVAC and refrigeration for satellite facilities.
Work on new HVAC and refrigeration installations as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
2 years vocational training in heating, ventilating, and air Conditioning with HVAC EPA Certification type I, II, III and
10 years experience in industrial or institutional maintenance.
Advanced HVAC knowledge must be able to trouble shoot & repair equipment with minimal support.
Maintain good physical and emotional well-being and possess a strong sense of responsibility, initiative and loyalty.
EPA Refrigeration Certification - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree HVAC or
Technical School Diploma or union apprenticeship in HVAC.
