CDL Class A Driver is responsible for an assigned / established daily route to make customer deliveries. SUMMARY: The Dry Goods Receiver & Production Services Team Member supports both warehouse receiving operations and food production activities. This role ensures efficient receipt, storage, and inventory control of materials while also assisting in production line operations to maintain consistent product quality and output. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and cross-trained to perform in multiple departments as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Include the following; other duties may be assigned as needed: Receiving & Inventory Control Prepare and organize storage areas prior to receiving activities; rotate stock as needed to maintain freshness and accuracy. Coordinate with the shipping office clerk to assign dock doors and schedule deliveries. Inspect all incoming pallets/bins for visible damage, defects, or signs of tampering. Tag, label, and move products to designated storage areas following established procedures. Maintain storage, racking, and product identification systems for traceability. Complete all required Kayem paperwork and accurately enter product information into the Kayem AX system using a scanner. Perform regular inventory checks, cycle counts, and product transfers within the AX system. Report delivery discrepancies or inventory issues to buyers. Work in freezer environments as required. Utilize AX, Excel, and Word for reporting and recordkeeping. Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary warehouse and production environment. Comply with all HACCP, OSHA, USDA, SSOP, and GMP requirements. Production Support & Operations Prepare and stage production materials and supplies to meet daily production needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review setup specification and staffing schedule to determine proper set-up Inspect equipment, while checking parts for any damage, or leakage Assembles equipment according to product run, including performing lockout/tagout as required Conducts first piece inspection to ensure conformance to product specifications, checking the diameter, length, weight, twists, casing breakage, and evidence of air pockets Conducts operational audits every 15 minutes throughout production to ensure proper product specifications Check for accuracy of scales Assist in all operations of the department (Hang, Stuff and Blend) Hang product according to pattern specifications and proper procedures Responsible for removing, cleaning, and safely storing gauges, gears, housing, and stuffing horns at the end of production Be willing to be cross trained within department to cover responsibilities if required Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos in English Must have basic mathematical skills Capable of regularly lifting and /or move up to 70 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 75 lbs. SUMMARY: The Grind Operator is responsible for preparing and processing meat according to daily production schedules and specifications. This role includes verifying meat types, weights, and grind sizes, operating grinding equipment, entering production data into the appropriate system, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the process. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, follow strict GMP and safety protocols, and be willing to cross-train and support other positions or departments as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and verify the schedule/cards for the production day. The Production Services position is responsible for supporting food production operations with a focus on efficiency, quality, and adaptability. The ideal candidate will perform standard production tasks and be trained to serve as a backup for various machines, occasionally work the product line, and step in as a team leader when needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Services Duty: Perform general production duties such as assembling, packing, stacking, and palletizing food products Occasionally work directly on the production line to support production needs Visually inspect products for quality and remove any non-conforming items Ensure adequate product quantities are available to meet order requirements Assist in machine setup and preparation based on production schedules and specifications Assemble, inspect, and clean equipment parts before and after runs, including lockout/tagout procedures Conduct first-piece inspections and ongoing quality checks (e.g., weight, size, twist, casing, etc.) Verify the accuracy of scales and machine settings Perform routine operational audits every 15 minutes to ensure compliance with specifications Cross-train across multiple production areas Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workspace in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and company standards Assist with the disassembly, cleaning, and safe storage of equipment at end of shift Perform other duties as assigned or required by supervisors Back-Up Team Leader Duties: Step in as Team Leader when the regular Team Leader is absent Ensure production lines start on time and run efficiently throughout the shift Monitor and coordinate staffing to maintain productivity levels Support and guide team members on proper procedures and best practices Communicate any issues with equipment, materials, or personnel to the Supervisor promptly Ensure product is made to customer specifications and in the required quantities Complete required paperwork, such as production and quality logs Maintain and enforce safety and sanitation standards Assist with training new employees and cross-training current team members.
