    Title: Electronics Assembler KBR is looking for an Electronics Assembler to support our government customer in Columbia, Maryland. Responsibilities include: Prepare electrical and electronic equipment for assembly and integration into systems. Works from drawings, wire and cable lists to perform inter-system equipment connections. Performs simple or routine chassis wiring utilizing wire lists and schematics. Install cable assemblies using standard written and generally accepted techniques including the provision for cable service loops and for proper cable routing. Hand and power tools are used as required to perform wire wrap and terminal connection installation. Uses cable testers and other audible testing instruments to verify the correctness of terminations Assist other higher-level assemblers and engineering personnel in the performance of their work, consistent with own background and training. Qualifications: Two years of direct experience as an electronic assembler Ability to obtain a secret security clearance Must be able to assemble parts per drawing packages or through direction from higher-level technicians or engineers. Soldering and crimping experience Must be able to use hand and power tools to perform assembly operations. Must be able to fabricate cables and install them using standard techniques. Basic Compensation: $40,000 to $70,000 The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
