PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Background with Microsoft Office suites, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
* Experience or training with computer language software (e.g., 8051 assembly language, ADA, C, C++, and/or Python).
* Knowledge of of MIL-STD-1553, RS-422, RS-485 interfaces. Familiar with hardware system component BIT (Built In Test) parameters.
* Familiar with Real-time Applications, serial bus communication, wiring/schematic diagrams.
* Professional knowledge of electronics engineering concepts, principles, methods, techniques, and standard engineering practices to perform engineering assignments complex CMDS engineering software projects.
* Knowledge of mathematical and statistical techniques to perform and interpret calculations, analyses, and computations for unfamiliar factors or relationships primarily in matters of a factual nature or involving well-understood mechanisms.
* Knowledge of computer aided design and drafting (CADD) programs to interpret or perform design and drafting assignments, as well as utilize computer applications in support of planning, analysis, and project reporting.
* Ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, apply electronics engineering practices and procedures to a variety of conventional situations and recognize viable solutions.
* Ability to articulate information clearly through various venues such as discussions, meetings, fact sheets, reports, design documentation, briefings, and presentations.
Location: This position is based in Jacksonville, Florida. Candidates should reside in or near the Jacksonville metropolitan area, as relocation assistance is not available.
Anticipated Start Date: The expected start date for this role is January 2026.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Basic Compensation: $72,000-$80,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
