The Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) Project Mechanical Engineer (ME) shall provide architectural and engineering services that support project, work order, and work request operations.
These functions are to ensure the delivery of BASE OPERATING SUPPORT-INSTALLATION (BOS-I) services to the 378 Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW), mission partners, and tenant units, including transient, temporary duty (TDY), permanent party, and rotational personnel as well as five (5) remote Army sites at PSAB, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Knowledge and Familiarity with War Reserve Material (WRM) assets
* Efforts include planning for repair and maintenance, designing, providing technical support, and updating record drawings.
* Provide effective Electrical Engineering support to ensure projects are designed and completed to support mission requirement based on guidance from 378 Engineering Flight Chief.
* Develop and administer Activity/Asset Management Plans (AMP) that translates Air Force and installation objectives into asset-related decisions by understanding assets' physical attributes, condition, usage, and performance as well as the realized and potential value to the mission. These plans should balance risk, current and future objectives, resource limitations, and lifecycle management.
* As required, be available within two (2) hours of notification to meet on the installation with Government personnel.
* Design and develop designs along with scope of work in support of various projects on PSAB.
* Provide frequent updates to the 378 Engineering Flight Chief along with briefings upcoming projects prior to sending to 378 ECONS for solicitation.
* Ensure compliance with all US laws, Saudi Labor Law, US EPA Guidelines, Final Governing Standards (FGS), Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document (OEBGD), US Building Codes, Department of Defense (DoD) Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) standards. In addition, ensure site activities comply with applicable US, DoD, and Host Country codes and standards to include American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), International Plumbing Code (IPC), National Plumbing Code (NPC), Building & Fire codes concerning health, safety, and the environment in the design and construction of real property facilities at all times.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
* May be exposed to potentially hazardous conditions that require wear of hard hats, gloves, steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses and other personal protection equipment (PPE); may be required to push, pull and lift heavy equipment.
* Use of Land Mobile Radios, cell phones, laptop, and other devices to maintain contact and accountability of work activities.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
* Work will be indoors and outdoors.
* Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
* Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending.
* Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots as well as Individual Protective Equipment (IPE) which may include but not limited to Level III plus/IV Individual Body Armor with both front and back ballistic plates, ACH helmet, clothing (undergarments, shirts and pants and/or coveralls), reflective vests/belts, sound suppression devices, etc.
* Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.
* Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
Education/Certifications:
* Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 4 years relevant experience on similar projects.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current U. S. Driver's License.
* Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
* Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently

Master's or doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), or
A qualifying graduate degree in an allied mental health field from a regionally accredited education institution in conjunction with a program of marriage and family therapy study that is equivalent to the COAMFTE standards as defined by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Must possess a clinical membership credential issued by the AAMFT.
LPC Requirements:
Passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE) or an examination determined by the Director, Defense Health Agency or designee as equal in scope, intent, and content to the NCMHCE.
Master's or higher-level degree from a mental health counseling program of education and training accredited for Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs; and
Post-master's degree counseling practice qualifying for independent licensure. Two years of post-graduate experience in various modalities and skill to provide individual, group, couples, and family treatment/counseling.
Must have a current state license to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top-Secret Clearance

Performs quality assurance audits or checks on the work of welders, fitters and pipefitters, assuring the use of correct procedures, materials, processes, and technical instructions. Conducts inspections of work areas and other general QA inspections (checkpoints).

6. Completed package including supporting data for all labor, material and proposed/potential subcontracting efforts are provided to the Estimating Manager.
7. Conducts shipchecks as needed to scope work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Analyzes job from start to finish ensuring proper and safe work methods used.
2. Reads and interprets work specifications, blueprints, technical manuals and design sketches to determine appropriate sheet metal process.
3. Interprets HVAC prints, systems for repair or modification.
4. Develops by triangulation, parallel line development or squaring off method, the different fittings needed to install an HVAC system.
5. Must calculate accurately for estimating material requirements and balancing a system.
6. Locates spaces on board ship and sketch systems.
7. Notifies supervisor of any safety or equipment issues.
8. Proficient at Habitability work.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Mentors less experienced sheet metal workers
2. Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
3. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Technical or Vocation School training
3.. Must have three to four years of experience in sheet metal work.
4. Must have knowledge of tools, equipment and machining processes of sheet metal trade.
5. Must be able to work effectively with others.
6. Must be steady, reliable worker.

The Special Operations Clinical Psychologist will provide technical expertise, guidance, and direct clinical service in the area of operational psychology to special operations forces (SOF).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* May develop, plan and initiate resiliency programs for preventing and treating behavioral health issues to support all aspects of a service member's readiness and resiliency.
* Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
* Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
* Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders including providing psychological treatment for individuals and groups, helping medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries, and assisting in rehabilitation of patients.
Required Education/Experience/Skills/Training:
* Position requires U.S. Citizenship.
* This position requires a Secret Clearance or Top, Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
* Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
* Successful completion of an Internship/Residency in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
* A minimum of two (2) years peer-reviewable practice of clinical work in a mental health setting.
* Providers must be able to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
* Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.
* Obtain practice privileges from the servicing military medical treatment facility.

* Must comply with the Quality Assurance plan, policies and procedures.
* Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
* Responsible for completing all required training.
* Perform other assignments and duties, as required.

* Experience working in a government setting such as DoD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF.
* Candidate has previous military background/experience.
