KCI Technologies CEO and leadership

Nate Beil, PE, D.WRE, joined KCI Technologies Inc. in 1988. Within four years, he started the company’s Water Resources Division, which became one of KCI’s top-performing business units. From 1995 to 2001, Nate served as head of KCI’s Environmental Group, and in 2001 he was promoted to manager of the firm’s Mid-Atlantic region. He has served as president of KCI since 2006 and assumed the role of CEO in 2018.

Nate earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Lehigh University. He has also completed the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Senior Executive Institute, and the Executive Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.

Nate serves on the executive committee of The Design Professionals Coalition (DPC) and is the past chair of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the Lehigh University’s Masters of Structural Engineering Advisory Board as well as the board of directors for MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. Nate is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Water Resources Association (AWRA) and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Christine Koski is a VP/Chief Financial Officer at KCI TECHNOLOGIES, INC. She has worked as Manager:Accounting at KCI TECHNOLOGIES, INC and Controller at KCI TECHNOLOGIES, INC. Christine works or has worked as MEMBER at Maryland Association of CPAs and MEMBER at Financial Executives International. She studied at Stevenson University between 1990 and 1994.

Christopher Griffith is KCI’s Chief Operating Officer. A former officer in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineering Corps, Chris was hired as an associate by KCI’s construction management group in September 1997. He was appointed head of the group in September 1998 and promoted to senior vice president in 1999. In 2006, Chris was named head of KCI’s Mid-Atlantic region and promoted to executive vice president. With the firm-wide reorganization in 2010, he became discipline manager for construction services before he was appointed to oversee the firm’s Environmental, Communications Infrastructure, Site/Facilities and Resource Management disciplines. He was promoted to COO in 2017.

Chris earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the United States Naval Academy as well as master’s degrees in business administration from Boston University, civil engineering from the University of Maryland, and ocean engineering from the University of Hawaii. He is a registered professional engineer in four states and a certified construction manager.

Chris is a past board member for the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) and chaired the organization’s Standards of Practice/Professional Development Committee, where he became involved in training the next generation of industry leaders. He is also a long-standing member of the Society of American Military Engineers. He also served as past president of CMAA’s National Capital Chapter, and past director of the American Council of Engineering Companies / Maryland. Chris is currently a member of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s Maryland Competitiveness Coalition Committee, the Harford County Chamber of Commerce’s Military Committee and the YMCA of Harford County’s Community Leadership Board.

Richard Hergenroeder, PE, F.SAME is a Chief Client Services Officer at KCI TECHNOLOGIES, INC and is based in Sparks Glencoe, Maryland. He has worked as Program Manager at MICHAEL BAKER INTERNATIONAL, Vice President at Gannett Fleming, and Director of Environmental Engineering and Assessment at SAFETY KLEEN CORP. Richard attended Drexel University between 1980 and 1982, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute between 1970 and 1974, and Johns Hopkins University between 1982 and 1984.
