KCI Technologies company history timeline
In 1969, the recently renamed MCA was purchased by industrial products conglomerate Walter Kidde & Company.
In August 1987, Hanson Trust PLC of Great Britain, a manufacturing company with diversified holdings worldwide, purchased Kidde, the parent company.
Today, our roughly 1,800 employee owners operate out of more than 60 offices in dozens of states across the United States The timeline below highlights some of our amazing story since the 1988 buyout that redefined the firm.
KCI, a Sparks-based engineering, consulting and construction firm, launched the incubator in 2017 to encourage creative thinking among its 1,625 employees.
In 2018, they raised more than $36,000 for Meals on Wheels.
