Duties, Responsibilities & Other
KCI is seeking an experienced and driven Site Acquisition Manager to lead and support site acquisition activities in telecommunications projects. This role involves lease negotiations, permitting, zoning presentations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have recent experience with both Carrier and Tower Developer projects and be familiar with jurisdictional zoning and permitting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site acquisition activities from RF design to NTP acceptance and project close-out.
- Perform site identification, qualification, and lease negotiation services.
- Prepare candidate information reports and zoning/permitting applications.
- Present at zoning hearings, HOA/Community meetings, and jurisdiction boards.
- Review title reports and legal documents for leasing viability.
- Prepare colocation applications and manage through issuance of Notice to Proceed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and landlord requirements.
- Provide support to installation teams for site access and design modifications.
- Prepare colocation applications and manage the process through Notice to Proceed.
- Conduct due diligence including property research, title reports, zoning maps, and parcel maps.
- Coordinate site visits with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Manage all aspects of the project(s), including client, technical staff, and vendors to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Develop and communicate the Project Management Plan for the project, outlining project objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Effectively manage the project scope, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
- Maintain project schedules, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays or conflicts to minimize impact on project timelines.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, implementing cost-control measures as needed to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
- Oversee all aspects of project financial management, including preparing proposals, project setup, invoicing, and managing accounts receivable (AR)
- Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for clients, leading deployment calls and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize project management tools for tracking and reporting.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Position Requirements:
- Familiarity with Carrier and Tower Owner SAQ processes and terminology.
- Strong understanding of real estate transactions and zoning principles.

- Experience with ArcGIS a plus

Job Summary: The Task Coordinator III (TC III) position is the third level of the Task Coordinator (TC) Career Track where progression is based on time in grade and appropriate performance. This position is responsible for leading small groups of individual contributors (ICs) responsible for a broad range of work. This work may include: Permitting, lighting, joint use, electric distribution design, field data collection, routing of work, data input, work order creation, time sheet review, client reporting, scheduling and other items as requested by leadership. The incumbent will have expert knowledge of the electric distribution design process including: field data collection, computer-aided design using client's design tool, standards and materials, permitting, Quality Control, GIS, charging guidelines, environmental constraints, safety requirements, construction practices, client/construction interaction, and as-built processes as needed to progress a project. The TC III may be tasked with leading groups in one or more tasks associated with the process. The TC III will generate schedules for work processes they are responsible for advancing. The TC III will assist with the development of those reporting to them and will be responsible for ongoing performance appraisals in a timely manner.
This position primarily involves working in an office environment. There is an expectation of significant field work, which may include exposure to inclement weather conditions such as extreme heat/cold, high humidity, rain, snow and icy conditions.
Key Technical Skills Required:
Proficiency in Dynamics ERP, CAD, and WMS (ex. MAXIMO).
Experience with distribution design and analysis software, such as: PoleForeman, DSTAR SEDs, Cable Pulling Assistant, or similar.

Stantec's Water practice has an opportunity for a Civil Engineer in Training with experience and/or interest in civil, water/wastewater, municipal utility, or water resources engineering to join our team in Sarasota, FL. The role of an entry level civil engineer is to work on smaller projects, and as a team member of larger projects under the close guidance and supervision of a senior engineer/designer. Your responsibilities would include evaluating and designing sub-systems and also evaluating and specifying products for various projects. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include preparing calculations, conducting field work, coordinating simple tasks, and meeting attendance and recording. Smaller projects that an entry level civil engineer may be assigned to will have relatively few complex features. Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the project team in the development of design plans and specifications for a variety of water/reclaimed water/wastewater distribution and collection systems, and water resources projects primarily for public municipal clients
- Assist with the preparation of detailed engineering studies, technical and infrastructure planning reports, hydraulic models and design tasks associated with municipal distribution and collection systems, and related facilities
- Perform quality reviews of documents in various phases of design development including engineering calculations, design reports, and construction plans.

- Support construction projects with periodic field site visits, construction observation, and witnessing utility testing
- Assist in the review of contractor shop drawings and submittals, respond to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other construction administration tasks
- Prepared to step in and assist with any of the project teams tasks in order to complete projects on time, on budget, and with quality design
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Be a self-motivated individual, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Candidate must have strong technical writing abilities
- Experience with design of water and wastewater utilities is preferred
- Technical knowledge in water, sewer and drainage projects is plus

A driller trainee will assist the crew chief in solid auger and rotary drilling techniques. The trainee will help move, set up and operate drill rigs and related equipment to drill test holes for geotechnical engineering studies. Site investigation/geotechnical drilling is done to determine the soil characteristics on sites to be developed as building, roadways and bridges. Work is outdoors. The work is generally physically demanding. However, safety in our work is an uncompromised value and we are proud of our safety record.

* Ability to lift drill steel and materials weighing up to 80 lbs.

KCI is seeking full-time Engineers-in-Training to participate in the KCI Rotational Engineering program. The goal of the program is to provide a unique opportunity for recent engineering degree recipients to gain exposure to, and experience in, a range of functional roles and assignments. The program is designed to help participants develop a broad base of knowledge about the company and grow into well-rounded leaders. This is a 1-year program with three or four stations in different disciplines and offices (if applicable).

The Contract Support Sprecialist oversees a variety of roadway and bridge construction projects of a smaller scope, directing inspection and material testing efforts. This role is responsible for oversight of project schedule and budget as well as quality assurance of contractor's work.

+ Soil classification and sampling during drilling, test pitting and excavation activities.
+ Groundwater sampling utilizing a wide variety of equipment.
+ Collection of groundwater treatment system performance samples, maintain documentation in record logs, and data tracking/interpretation
+ Assists in testing, calibrating, repairing, and modifying control and instrumentation systems at on-site locations. Some assignments may be undertaken independently
+ Supervision of drillers and other subcontractors.
+ Operation of various types of field equipment (e.g. GPS, data loggers, survey level, combustible gas meters, etc.).
+ Can follow sampling protocol, take precise notes, complete field data entry associated with the sampling event
+ Completion of field documentation such as activity hazard analysis (AHA) forms, project field reports, field notes, and chain-of-custody forms.
+ Work with Project Managers, using interpersonal and organizational skills, to ensure projects are completed on time and budget.
+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
+ Under general supervision, perform a variety of skilled technical duties and semi-skilled labor tasks associated with the operation and maintenance of a groundwater treatment plant
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ A 4-year degree in geology, environmental science, or similar programs.
+ A minimum of 3+ year of experience conducting environmental field efforts.
+ Knowledge of Florida's environmental regulations.
+ Ability to work in a hybrid work arrangement. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a home office and a project location in Jacksonville, FL. Ideally this position shall be located in northern Florida.
+ Mix of office experience (Operation and Monitoring Reports, Discharge Monitoring Reports, etc) and field experience (subcontractor oversight, soil/ /GW sampling, etc).
+ A valid driver's license and the ability and willingness to travel to and from field location in Jacksonville, FL is required.
+ Should be able-bodied as the work requires some physical exertion such as extended periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; lifting; recurring bending or similar activities.
+ Work in adverse weather conditions (i.e. hot, cold, rain and snow).
+ Excellent written and oral communications skills.
+ Maturity in interaction and ability to operate self-sufficiently in the field or as part of a team.

Duties, Responsibilities & Other
As a Site/Civil Design Technician your primary responsibilities include designing and drafting civil and land development construction drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other relevant software. You will work closely with a team under the supervision of a project manager to ensure that all designs meet industry standards and the approval standards of federal, state, and local agencies. Your role involves the creation, production, and management of construction drawings for a wide range of public and private civil engineering and land development projects, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be expected to demonstrate attention to detail, collaborate effectively with team members, and interface with the project team to meet project requirements.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Have an extensive knowledge of CAD standards and advanced Civil 3D functionality
Work closely with project engineers and managers to set up and manage construction drawings using AutoDesk Civil 3D
Prepare construction documents for a wide range of civil and land development projects from conceptual design through construction certification
Responsible for design for site layout, grading, erosion and sedimentation control, drainage and stormwater management design, water distribution system design, sanitary sewer and lift station design, roadway and access connection design
Assist in ongoing development and maintenance of team-wide CAD standards and protocols
Responsible for team-wide quality control of project deliverables
Mentor junior designers and engineers in usage of Civil 3D and associated programs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong technical and professional communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Proficient in AutoCAD, and Civil 3D experience required
Ability to work in a team environment on multiple assignments
Familiarity with local land development codes, standards, and regulations
