Duties, Responsibilities & Other
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Construction Inspector 2 works independently on less complex construction activities and assists experienced inspectors on complex construction assignments on active roadway and bridge construction projects. This role involves detailed documentation, communication, problem resolution, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining certifications. The individual in this role must be physically capable of performing field inspections and willing to work in various weather conditions, including potential night shifts and varied work schedules.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed and timely reports to document construction progress, inspection, and testing results.
Record and report daily forms per project requirements.
Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting.
Maintain necessary records, measure field quantities, conduct field tests, and other tests as required to determine contractors' compliance with contract specifications.
Submit accurate timesheets, mileage, and expense reports on time each week.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors.
Resolve problems at the lowest level.
Inspection and Compliance:
Perform field construction inspection and documentation services on various commercial, municipal, institutional, and/or heavy highway and bridge projects.
Review job site safety daily and take immediate action to document and resolve issues.
Understand and adhere to OSHA Safety Standards and corporate policies.
Ensure compliance with all applicable industry standards and client requirements.

Duties, Responsibilities & Other
KCI is seeking full-time Engineers-in-Training to participate in the KCI Rotational Engineering program. The goal of the program is to provide a unique opportunity for recent engineering degree recipients to gain exposure to, and experience in, a range of functional roles and assignments. The program is designed to help participants develop a broad base of knowledge about the company and grow into well-rounded leaders. This is a 1-year program with three or four stations in different disciplines and offices (if applicable).

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. * Assist with setting up a site grid, datum, and excavations units; Mapping site plans and individual shovel tests, units, and features in plan and profile

Business Development
* Engage directly in identifying, pursuing, and winning projects; lead and participate in proposal preparation.
* Develop, maintain, and enhance Stantec's market position with clients, approval agencies, and industry professionals as an outstanding service provider through coordination with Stantec's marketing team, regional sector leadership, and local technical staff.
* Engage and develop relationships with key industry partners that can help advance Stantec's position in the marketplace.
* Participate in conferences and seminars and represent Stantec in business, community, and social situations to advance the Stantec brand and maximize exposure of Stantec's subject matter experts.
* Create and maintain internal relationships across Stantec's practices and geographies to promote cross-selling of services.

Project Delivery
* This position will support project management and provide technical support for environmental surveying, reporting, and permitting services with a focus on power sector clients in Texas and Gulf Coast Region.
* Collaborate with and manage a community of staff across various sectors, including but not limited to federal, state, and local clients, power, municipalities, and other industrial clients.
* Identify project-specific environmental design and regulatory requirements for power projects according to the Client's risk management profile, industry precedents, existing guidance, regulations, best practices, and lessons learned, and use that information to inform smart permitting strategy.
* Establish project objectives and procedures and lead teams on proposals, planning studies, designs, due diligence and permitting projects.
* Possess good business awareness and acumen and maintain a strong understanding of project management fundamentals: project scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
* Grow Stantec's professional relationships with stakeholders and decision makers within key client accounts.
* Grow internal and external networks and identify additional high caliber talent across a range of professional disciplines to join the Stantec team.
* Provide mentoring and training for staff.

Education and Experience
* Education: Bachelor's degree in natural sciences, environmental science, or related field from an accredited university required; master's degree preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience with technical specialization and expertise in environmental compliance, natural resource assessments and studies, and permitting.
* 5+ years' experience in a business development and client relationship management capacity.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented and experienced need Mid-Level Mechanical Systems Inspector Position to support the US Army Corps of Engineers at Joint Base San Antonio, TX. This is an onsite,
full-time position working 40 hours per week (est. 2080 total hours per year).
Duties Shall Generally Include:
Review of plans and specifications and oversight of work to ensure construction conforms to contract drawings.
Reviewing the technical aspects of designated major design, construction, renovation or alteration projects.
Review RFIs, submittals, BCOES reviews and perform plan in hand reviews.
Review, inspect and test mechanical systems and equipment installed in projects.
Monitor and document commissioning of building systems.
Preparation of the pertinent correspondence, reports, and A-E contract criteria necessary for project completion.
Review of controversial and/or complex change orders and claims to ensure they are adequately documented and justified.
Attendance of all mechanical and plumbing meetings and providing input on effectively meeting all Requests for Proposal (RFP) and design requirements, to include any LEED requirements incorporated into the design.
Attendance of all warranty inspections and support in attaining and maintaining the contractual warranty.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
HS + 10 Years of relevant experience in construction practices, engineering, procedures, and testing, and large vertical DoD construction projects.
3 years commissioning experience.
Due to the nature of the project US citizenship is required.
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background checks.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Up to 50% of the time the position needs to move about indoor and outdoor construction site environments with uneven terrain, variable environmental conditions including heat, dusts, noise, moisture, and dryness.
Occasionally (10-25% of workday) performing repetitive bending/stooping, repetitive or fine hand movements, working at heights, and lifting and carrying equipment weighing less than 25 pounds.
At times the position requires working with arms above shoulder level, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), climbing stairs, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, and lifting greater than 25 pounds.
The position requires wearing associated personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection.

+ Conduct stakeholder outreach and public involvement efforts, including organizing and leading meetings and presentations with stakeholders.
+ Develop and evaluate alternative conceptual designs; consolidate project alternatives and recommendations from stakeholder inputs.
+ Collaborate with the local area Business Development Team and Senior Management in the development and execution of significant project pursuits and delivery. Establish relationships with external and internal clients, industry associations, potential consultant team members, and contractors.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ **BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership**
+ **AICP or PE Certification is required.**

+ **10+ Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience in transportation projects including planning and data analysis, economic evaluation, freight analysis and demand modeling.**
+ **Bachelor's degree in urban/city/Regional Planning or Civil Engineering.**

* Technical Project Lead - lead stormwater infrastructure design development, ensuring design disciplines work collaboratively, efficiently, and effectively and comply with regulatory requirements. You will prepare feasibility studies, design plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical documents, and contracts.
* Business Development - capitalize on our substantial existing on-call contracts with several major clients in Texas to identify and target opportunities. This includes building internal and external teams that can effectively compete, win, and perform work. Participate in strategic marketing discussions and lead proposal development.
* Manage Teams - build and manage project teams and mentor mid-level and/or junior engineers and scientists
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (Master's Preferred) in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline
* Registered PE in Texas
* 10-15+ years of progressive experience conducting flood studies (concept through implementation) and analysis of stormwater/water resources projects for municipalities within Texas and nationwide
* Experience as Engineer of Record for the construction of stormwater/water resources projects
* Ability to lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers in the preparation of construction, drawings, details, specifications, calculations, and engineers estimate of probable construction costs.
* Working knowledge of water quality regulations and the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program
* Direct experience working with MS4 jurisdictions in Texas, or the Southwest region preferred.
* Strong project management skills
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Duties, Responsibilities & Other
KCI is seeking a motivated student for an MEP Engineering Internship to join our team for Summer 2026. Summer interns will work a 40-hour week, with at least 10 weeks of work required during the period from mid-May to the end of August. Interns will be assigned a dedicated supervisor and mentor, are required to attend planned activities, and must submit mid-summer and end-of-summer reports/presentations. Responsibilities include:
Enrolled in a college Engineering program. Preference will be given to students pursuing degrees in Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.
Assist in the development of plans, quantities and cost estimates
Conduct data analysis and reporting
Complete field surveys or laboratory assignments
Conduct entry level engineering, design or drafting
Prepare engineering studies and coordinate design plans with other design disciplines
Apply quality control procedures in alignment with ISO.
Communicate with client(s) on a limited basis
Provide on-time delivery of project expectations with favorable feedback
Perform administrative or office management duties.
Qualifications
Education and/or Skills Required:
• This is an entry level position where no previous experience is required.
• Currently enrolled in an ABET-Accredited College Engineering Program
Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:
• 3.0 GPA or higher
