POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the General Manager of Ag Operations at our Kapua Orchards facility in South Kona, Big Island, Hawaii, the Plant Manager oversees and supervises daily processing and plant operations. All of the product grown and processed at this facility are used in our Mauna Loa and Hawaiian Host products, two of Hawaii's largest retail brands sold and distributed across the U.S. and Asia. This role is accountable for human safety excellence, product quality, food safety protocols, production efficiency, high kernel recovery, cost management, maintenance, maintenance reliability, supplier accountability, warehousing, continuous improvement and overall plant performance driving improved yield and throughput. The Plant Manager role is a hands-on job and works closely with front line employees, leads by example, and works closely with cross-functional partners to ensures company targets are achieved. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Oversee all stages of the macadamia nut processing flow: WIS receiving, drying, cracking, optical sorting, pasteurizing, roasting, manual sorting, and sizing.
Leading all Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehousing, and Scheduling functions and managers at the site and working closely with the site Orchard Manager and site FSQA Manager while reporting to the site GM.

Assists higher grade crewmembers such as Leadman, Installer 1/C, Crewfitter in any and all of his/her job duties such as:
The delivery, setting/relocation and installation of LPG tanks, cylinders and/or appliances including the piping from tank to riser; installs meters, valves and regulators. Utilizes leak-detecting solution and gas detection or measurement equipment to ensure the integrity of the installation and system. The removal of LPG tank and cylinders and plugging of gas lines following established procedures and/or processes.
The installation, maintenance, relocation, repair replacement and/or termination of the gas mains and services distribution systems using manual tools of the trade including pick and shovel, and operating various equipment such as jack hammer, pavement breaker, mud gun, pneumatic or gas-powered tampers, drill gun, electric drill, ect. Inspects, checks, test pipe system with air or gas; reads/interprets pressure gauge to determine system is not leaking and is performing according to design.
Performs general maintenance of tanks in the field including: Chipping rust and painting; removing covers; repairing or replace fittings, regulators and meters; servicing valves, ect. Cuts/threads pipe using pipe cutters/threader machine and installs pipe and fittings.
Responds to a variety of trouble calls and performs emergency response function; effectuates emergency repairs and/or shuts-down gas supply when appropriate/necessary. Stands by the site when necessary until properly relieved by appropriate personnel.
Provides customer service and extends at all times a courteous and tactful demeanor when dealing with customers or the public. May advise or instruct consumer in the proper care of the tank, appliances and equipment.
Drives truck and maintains necessary truck supplies and equipment. Operates crane as required.

The Residential Specialist for the Safe House program, is a Full time 40 hours a week non-exempt position. SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Under the supervision of the Director of West Hawaii Programs, the Program Supervisor I will plan, organize, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the services of Domestic Abuse Shelters (DAS) and Domestic Violence Advocacy (DVA) programs and contracts assigned.
