TITLE: Professional Services Specialist 2 (Lead Data Analyst)

DUTIES:
Responsible for the gathering, assessment, cleaning, aggregating and analysis of data from a wide range of stakeholder groups across the university to ensure Kean University is fulfilling its mission and meeting its strategic goals. This is a highly collaborative position that works closely with a diverse team of administrators, faculty, staff and students to enhance institutional effectiveness through data democratization. As such, this position communicates and collaborates across the institution to develop best practices for data analysis and visualization in accordance with the University's policies and procedures. Build interactive, dynamic, and effective data visualizations and data dashboards to drive actionable insights and democratize data across the university community. Partner with various departments, including but not limited to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons, and the Division of General Education and Interdisciplinary Studies, to help address their strategic and tactical business needs on appropriate data management, data structure, data quality, and utilize best practices on reporting requirements, and business process analysis. Collaborate with the Institutional Research (IR) team to develop and maintain reporting systems, data validations, and data models using business intelligence (BI) tools and Database Management System (DBMS). Generate ad hoc reports and run queries on research data, students, and other university related data from platforms such as Ellucian Colleague, Advise CRM, and Informer on a regular basis for internal reporting purposes. Develop a platform and business intelligence (BI) insights to optimize the processes by which research and sponsored programs data is gathered, validated, and reported in a standard format required for the annual NSF HERD Survey in support of R2 designation. Serve as a lead and a central hub of data requests from a wide range of client groups across the university and support the collection, analysis, and delivery of data via a cloud-based project management platform. Maintain the Enrolled but Not Registered (ENR) user dashboard, which updates daily, to provide data on student registration patterns to university stakeholders in support of campus-wide retention initiatives. Design, develop, implement, and maintain strategic competency-based education related metrics and reports and assist in decision making at all levels and in all areas of the university, including presenting to senior leadership. Manage and update the Exit Survey Report and associated dashboard, which is shared with the department chairs and college deans in coordination with the Office of Accreditation and Assessment. Monitor and report on the outcomes of student learning experiences and faculty involvement with student assessment through course evaluations in collaboration with the Office of Accreditation and Assessment. Assist with data preparation, formatting, and reporting of specialized accreditation programs for the Office of Accreditation and Assessment. Serve on the University Data Governance Committee. Other duties that support the Division of Strategic Analytics and Data Illumination.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field. 2 years of post-bachelor's experience analyzing data in an institution of higher education, in education or a field that is directly related to data collection, analysis and reporting; 2 years of experience must include the following: Microsoft Excel: Experience with advanced MS Excel functions: conditional formatting, advanced charting, data validation, pivot tables, and data modeling. Microsoft Access: Knowledge of creating data models and writing queries on MS Access to store, organize, and retrieve data. Power Query: Ability to incorporate the volume of data from various external sources; append or merge data models or queries; clean and transform data; synthesize data and create uniformity. SQL: Skilled in writing complex queries, ability to join multiple tables, stored procedures, T-SQL, and Knowledge of database structures and ad-hoc reporting using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Data Analysis Expressions (DAX): Strong working knowledge of DAX expressions/queries to create measures, calculated columns, and calculated. PowerBI: Strong proficiency in creating interactive and dynamic dashboards/visualizations in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant for the department of Surgery at the New Jersey Medical School.
Under the direction and supervision of a Dr. Keri Lunsford, provides health care services to patients and assist in the management of patients under clinical trial in the Division of Transplant and HPB Surgery at Rutgers NJMS. PA should have specialized knowledge and experience in organ donation, liver transplant, complications of liver transplant, and the evaluation and management of liver transplant patients both prior to and following transplantation. In addition to clinical duties, the PA will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of clinical trial records, assessment of complications occurring following clinical trial enrollment, and entry and audit of clinical data into the data management system. They will be required to undergo training and certification in clinical trial data management and human subjects research, and they will interface with clinical and research personnel.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Provides documentation for patient clinical assessment for those enrolled in liver transplant clinical trials.
Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for deviations from normal and ensure protocol compliance for patients enrolled in liver transplant clinical trials.
Performs therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provisions of continuity of care for clinical trial patients.
Instructs and counsels patients regarding enrollment and consent for clinical trials in liver transplant, compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, expected clinical course prior to and following liver transplant, physical frailty, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
Provide timely data entry, management, and critical review for patient registration and tracking in clinical trial data management system. Reviews all clinical adverse events with study principal investigator or co-investigator. In conjunction with the medical staff, develops and maintains all clinical and research requirements related to regulatory agencies of the local, state, and federal governments.

The successful candidate will provide artistic and administrative leadership for the School's orchestral program, including conducting major ensembles, programming diverse and compelling repertoire, and mentoring student musicians in performance excellence. Candidates at the Associate Professor level should have evidence of a sustained, extramurally funded program of research and a strong track record of publications that are commensurate with the rank.

Priority will be given to candidates committed to interdisciplinary work in the study of social and structural determinants of health and whose scholarship has potential for external funding.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Research Integrity, Security and Compliance, the Director of Research Compliance (Director 3) supports the operational needs of the compliance function within the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), specifically through oversight of Kean's research integrity and security programs. Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college and three years of related experience with research compliance, sponsored research administration and/or comparable regulatory experience is required. Five or more years is preferred, including experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience working in higher education is also preferred. A Doctorate degree may be substituted for two years of the required experience. Candidate must have experience with project management in a fast-paced environment; strong oral and written communication skills; familiarity with federal regulatory guidelines including 42 CFR Part 93, NSPM-33, ITAR, EAR, and OFAC; and experience with compliance management platforms (e.g. Cayuse, Huron, Visual Compliance).

Under the supervision of the Director of the Kean Counseling Center and the Executive Director of the Kean Wellness Center, the Project Coordinator (Professional Services Specialist 2) performs responsibilities to coordinate the Survivors Empowerment and Education Network (SEEN) for the Prevention of Domestic and Dating Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Program Project Grant program at Kean University.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the completion of the project's stated goals, leading the Coordinated Community Response Team and overseeing the project. The Coordinator participates in the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office on Violence Against Women (OVW)-sponsored training and technical assistance (TA); collects and reports performance indicators; participates in assessment and/or evaluation; and works with TA providers to establish the infrastructure to create a comprehensive program to address domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking on campus that is grounded in culturally specific strategies.
The Project Coordinator organizes training events for members of the campus community (e.g. students, staff), collects data associated with program activities, and organizes policy-making efforts regarding domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking on campus.
This is not a remote position. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours. This position is a part-time (three quarter-time, 26.25 hours weekly) grant funded position. Future employment is contingent upon continued grant funding.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Psychology, Counseling or a related field; license or eligibility for licensure in the State of New Jersey in a mental health or related field (for example, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Associate Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker); and three years of professional experience in a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Experience working with university students and interest in providing education and training to clinical staff, the campus community and external entities/organizations is preferred.

* Assists in developing and maintaining the skill, discipline, and integrity of the team during games and practice.
* Adheres to the athletic policies and protocol of Union College and the eligibility requirements and rules and regulations of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
* Responsible for driving the van including attaining and maintaining full positive status on the authorized drivers' list, following the school's van policy. Also adhere to all driving laws as well as all EZ-Pass laws.
* Must read, acknowledge, sign, and follow the NJCAA Coaching Principles, Coaching Creed and the NJCAA Coaching Excellence Contract.
* Must represent Union College, The Garden State Athletic Conference and Region XIX in a positive manner. Conduct yourself and the team in such a manner as to reflect a positive image for the team and Union, both on and off the playing arena.
* Conducts self and team with a high degree of moral integrity as representatives of Union at all public appearances, whether on or off campus.
Education Requirements
Associate Degree required.
Experience
Coaching and or playing experience required.
Competencies and Skills Required
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
* Position involves both inside sedentary work and physical activity outside on the field in coaching and training situations with student athletes.
* Involves strenuous exercise of muscles used in stooping, bending, running, throwing, pitching and batting.
* Work is performed indoors and/or outdoors in conditions including loud and constant noise. There is exposure to natural atmospheric conditions such as sun, rain, wind and dust, etc.
* Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag approximately 50 pounds.
* Travel is required.
