DUTIES:
Responsible for the gathering, assessment, cleaning, aggregating and analysis of data from a wide range of stakeholder groups across the university to ensure Kean University is fulfilling its mission and meeting its strategic goals. This is a highly collaborative position that works closely with a diverse team of administrators, faculty, staff and students to enhance institutional effectiveness through data democratization. As such, this position communicates and collaborates across the institution to develop best practices for data analysis and visualization in accordance with the University's policies and procedures. Build interactive, dynamic, and effective data visualizations and data dashboards to drive actionable insights and democratize data across the university community. Partner with various departments, including but not limited to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons, and the Division of General Education and Interdisciplinary Studies, to help address their strategic and tactical business needs on appropriate data management, data structure, data quality, and utilize best practices on reporting requirements, and business process analysis. Collaborate with the Institutional Research (IR) team to develop and maintain reporting systems, data validations, and data models using business intelligence (BI) tools and Database Management System (DBMS). Generate ad hoc reports and run queries on research data, students, and other university related data from platforms such as Ellucian Colleague, Advise CRM, and Informer on a regular basis for internal reporting purposes. Develop a platform and business intelligence (BI) insights to optimize the processes by which research and sponsored programs data is gathered, validated, and reported in a standard format required for the annual NSF HERD Survey in support of R2 designation. Serve as a lead and a central hub of data requests from a wide range of client groups across the university and support the collection, analysis, and delivery of data via a cloud-based project management platform. Maintain the Enrolled but Not Registered (ENR) user dashboard, which updates daily, to provide data on student registration patterns to university stakeholders in support of campus-wide retention initiatives. Design, develop, implement, and maintain strategic competency-based education related metrics and reports and assist in decision making at all levels and in all areas of the university, including presenting to senior leadership. Manage and update the Exit Survey Report and associated dashboard, which is shared with the department chairs and college deans in coordination with the Office of Accreditation and Assessment. Monitor and report on the outcomes of student learning experiences and faculty involvement with student assessment through course evaluations in collaboration with the Office of Accreditation and Assessment. Assist with data preparation, formatting, and reporting of specialized accreditation programs for the Office of Accreditation and Assessment. Serve on the University Data Governance Committee. Other duties that support the Division of Strategic Analytics and Data Illumination.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field. 2 years of post-bachelor's experience analyzing data in an institution of higher education, in education or a field that is directly related to data collection, analysis and reporting; 2 years of experience must include the following: Microsoft Excel: Experience with advanced MS Excel functions: conditional formatting, advanced charting, data validation, pivot tables, and data modeling. Microsoft Access: Knowledge of creating data models and writing queries on MS Access to store, organize, and retrieve data. Power Query: Ability to incorporate the volume of data from various external sources; append or merge data models or queries; clean and transform data; synthesize data and create uniformity. SQL: Skilled in writing complex queries, ability to join multiple tables, stored procedures, T-SQL, and Knowledge of database structures and ad-hoc reporting using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Data Analysis Expressions (DAX): Strong working knowledge of DAX expressions/queries to create measures, calculated columns, and calculated. PowerBI: Strong proficiency in creating interactive and dynamic dashboards/visualizations in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Director of Research Compliance
Reporting to the Executive Director of Research Integrity, Security and Compliance, the Director of Research Compliance (Director 3) supports the operational needs of the compliance function within the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), specifically through oversight of Kean's research integrity and security programs. The Director of Research Compliance ensures adherence to federal and state regulations and institutional guidelines and provides support via communications management and excellent customer service to students, faculty and administrators interacting with the ORSP and other university offices including General Counsel, International Programs, Procurement and Information Technology. Knowledge of and experience with the regulatory requirements related to research integrity and ethics, export controls, foreign influence and research security are required. This position requires travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.
Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college and three years of related experience with research compliance, sponsored research administration and/or comparable regulatory experience is required. Five or more years is preferred, including experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience working in higher education is also preferred. A Doctorate degree may be substituted for two years of the required experience. Candidate must have experience with project management in a fast-paced environment; strong oral and written communication skills; familiarity with federal regulatory guidelines including 42 CFR Part 93, NSPM-33, ITAR, EAR, and OFAC; and experience with compliance management platforms (e.g. Cayuse, Huron, Visual Compliance).

Department of Physical Therapy, College of Health Professions and Human Services
Physical Therapy - 12 month clinical tenure-track faculty member to perform academic and assessment support with teaching in content areas including, but not limited to: foundational sciences, the musculoskeletal system, the cardiopulmonary system, the neurological system, clinical education and practice management, ethics/interprofessional/psychosocial, research, modalities, and/or pediatrics. Candidates with expertise in specialty areas of physical therapist practice will be considered. Faculty must have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in team-taught courses.
Qualifications - Doctorate degree in a health-related field, a minimum of two years of teaching experience in an accredited physical therapy education program and a minimum of three years of experience in physical therapist clinical practice is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of New Jersey or be license-eligible in the State of New Jersey. ABPTS certification and experience in inpatient or post-acute care management across the continuum of care for patients with complex medical conditions is preferred.
Candidates must have an established and active independent research record that supports publication in peer reviewed journals or publication venues appropriate for the discipline and a strong agenda for future research. ABD candidates will be considered with degree completion by September 1, 2026.

SUMMARY
As the University's Attending Veterinarian, this position will serve as a member of the Rowan University's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and will report to Rowan's Institutional Officer (IO) for the Animal Welfare Program. He/she will also advise the Associate Vice President for Research of the Virtua College of Medicine and Life Sciences and the Associate Dean for Research at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University on all issues relating to animal research activities and vivarium operations, as needed. The Director will also serve as the Attending Veterinarian for all Rowan University Research Animal Facilities (Stratford and Camden campuses) and, if necessary, any additional facilities that Rowan University may operate.
Performs other related work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The AV will work directly with Vivarium managers to ensure the facilities maintains AAALAC accreditation and are compliant with all applicable regulations for the care and maintenance of research animals, preparing and maintaining all requisite records and regulatory forms. The AV will oversee managers who supervise vivarium staff and train personnel in procedures that promote proper animal care and use as required. The AV, with Vivarium managers, will be responsible for monitoring and maintenance of animal colony integrity, including health status, to ensure compliance and research continuity. Quality control reviews of animal integrity will be made available to investigators, users, and senior administration.
The AV will be available to provide ongoing technical expertise and consultation to facility staff and users, as well as IACUC members, and will be thoroughly versed in all practical and administrative aspects of surgical procedures, anesthesia, analgesia, euthanasia, and biosafety as required by research activity. The AV must be familiar with institutional and federal guidelines for the care and use of animals and will be the primary formal point of contact for dealing with violations, occupational health and safety issues and facility security. The AV will engage users in dialogue on all issues that impact on research compliance and productivity, and will serve as a conduit for dialogue between users and senior administration.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess a D.V.M/V.M.D. degree. Candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of NJ or be eligible to obtain licensure in NJ within a reasonable amount of time. ACLAM board certified or eligible for veterinary candidates is desirable. Experience in a research animal facility setting is a must, preferably in a supervisory capacity. Eligibility for an Adjunct appointment is desirable, and college or graduate school teaching experience is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills are required and the candidate must have a good working knowledge of all relevant institutional and federal guidelines and regulations.

The position below is a twelve-month, full-time, tenure-track Clinical Faculty assignment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Department of Physician Assistant Studies (12 Month Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor) - the M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies Program graduates PAs who provide evidence-based, equitable health care to diverse populations and who value service to others as well as life-long learning. Faculty responsibilities performed during the twelve-month period include, but are not limited to: teaching clinical foundational courses within the PASP curriculum; evaluating and monitoring student progress; participating in admissions processes, including interviews and selecting applicants; participating in scholarship; participating in program assessment and evaluation; advising students; maintaining office hours; and working collaboratively with core faculty, administrators, the Dean of the College of Health Professions and Human Services, Enrollment Services and other departments within the University. Operating Engineer I
Under the supervision of the Engineer-in Charge, Chief Operating Engineer and/or Facilities Management, responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of various steam plant systems throughout the University campus, including high pressure steam boilers, low pressure steam boilers and related auxiliary equipment; and performing related work as required.
Operating Engineers may be exposed to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Essential job functions include the ability to walk long distances both indoors and outside; standing for long periods; the ability to climb stairs, bend and stoop; lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds; and driving.
The employee will be required to pass a four (4) month Working Test Period to become eligible for a regular appointment. This position requires a flexible schedule.
Qualifications: An appropriate Operating Engineer's license (Blue Seal minimum) of the appropriate grade, issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor; driver's license valid in the State of New Jersey; and two (2) years of experience in work involving the operation and repair of heating plants and auxiliary equipment is required. Candidate must have knowledge of the various types of boilers, engines, motors, and auxiliary equipment used in power and heating plants and the methods of proper use, care, adjustments and maintenance. Strong electrical and plumbing skills preferred.

Part-time Reader
Kean University is seeking a part-time Reader that will work in-person with a faculty member. The Reader will read aloud to the faculty member various printed materials and/or information from a computer screen or other print sources that cannot be read by the adaptive computer equipment and software. The Reader will take dictation when the adaptive computer equipment and software cannot do so and will also organize and file written materials that are incidental to the reading and dictation duties.
This position is temporary and filled on a semester-to-semester basis, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday in-person at the Union campus. Generally, work will be assigned between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The Reader's work schedule will vary each semester based on the faculty member's teaching schedule.
