About the UFW: For 50 years, the UFW mobilized farm workers and their organizations across the country to advocate for more equitable policies, such as immigration reform, pesticide protections, heat standards, hazard pay, and other worker protections. We engage constituents in systemic change to break the cycle of poverty while also providing critical services. The organization has staff in California, Idaho, Ohio, Oregon, Maryland, New York, Utah, Washington D.C., and Washington State. As part of pandemic farm worker assistance, the UFW will provide outreach and intake programming as part of the USDA Financial Relief for Farm Workers Program.
SUMMARY
Provides the overall coordination of daily administrative activities of the UFW/USDA Financial Relief Program Director and program team by monitoring the workflow, and daily activities, being knowledgeable of the status of project activities and performing follow-up procedures on matters for the Director and project team. Secondary duties will include various special projects related to the events and activities in which the organization or Program Director is involved. This is a two-year grant-funded position. This position is located in California (remote).
