Summary: Flex Fair Consultant is responsible for maximizing Book Fair penetration by effectively prospecting new schools and by building strong customer relationships to maintain Fair rebooking rates. Sharp planning skills will minimize cancellations and optimize event schedules, ensuring smooth operations and maximized profits. Ultimately, you'll be a passionate advocate for reading, igniting a love for books within every school you serve. This role does not have an assigned area but will support the territory pod as a whole until an opening becomes available.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Growth:
+ Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
+ Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective customers to expand market presence and drive sales growth.
Customer Account Maintenance and Growth:
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges.
+ Proactively engage with customers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and drive incremental revenue from existing accounts.
Relationship Building:
+ Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within customer organizations.
+ Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance, product recommendations, and solutions to meet their business objectives.
Territory Management:
+ Effectively manage territory activities, including prospecting, lead generation, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
+ Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and optimize territory performance.
Market Intelligence:
+ Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
+ Gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.

Experience:
+ Minimum of two (2) years of proven successful sales experience in telephone sales, personal selling, and customer service.
+ Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on revenue growth and customer relationship management.
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
