Keiro Northwest company history timeline

1975

In 1975, these visionaries created Issei Concerns, later known as Nikkei Concerns, and today is now known as Keiro Northwest.

1976

After a concerted fund development campaign, a skilled nursing facility opened its doors in South Seattle in 1976.

1998

In 1998, Nikkei Manor opened its doors, located in the heart of Seattle’s International District.

2016

On February 8, 2016, Keiro and Pacifica announced the close of escrow of Keiro’s four senior health care facilities (Keiro Nursing Home, South Bay Keiro Nursing Home, Keiro Intermediate Care Facility, and Keiro Retirement Home) to Pacifica Companies, LLC.

2019

In 2019 there were 7 other nursing facilities that closed in Washington State.

2021

In 2021, Keiro celebrated its 60th Anniversary.
