KEITH is looking for a Professional Surveyor and Mapper with experience working on FDOT Projects to join our Survey and Mapping team. This position can be remote, hybrid, or in office. What you will do:
As a Professional Surveyor and Mapper, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of field and office staff for multiple projects, and clients from proposal, through production, until final deliverables. This is a hands-on, project responsible position, and will focus on our public and private client base. You will also be responsible for proposal writing, business development, and staff development. This role is the key point of contact between KEITH and our clients.
Manage projects from start to finish, while ensuring services meet KEITH's quality standards and client specifications
Participate in planning and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
Develop and manage proposals, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts
Sign and seal plats, field notes and control drawings if required
Establish work plans and staffing requirements for multiple projects
Participate in business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationship
Develop and conduct presentations to clients and other critical stakeholders
Effectively interface with sub-consultants and as well as other business relationships
Provide support to other operational units as needed
Represent company interests while in meetings and trade shows as needed
What You Bring to KEITH:
Experience working on FDOT Survey and Mapping projects in District 5
Bachelor's degree in related discipline/and or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in project/phase management
Strong proficiency with or understanding of tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ORD Open Roads, MS Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly define assignments/deliverables to team members
Ability to oversee, mentor and motivate a team
Professional License preferred

What you'll do:

Lead project teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary staff across engineering, planning, and environmental disciplines.

Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and proposals, while managing resources to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and professional development.
Utilize modeling and design software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, ICPR, and ArcGIS to analyze and simulate water systems.
Ideal Candidate Has:
B.S. in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required
8+ years of progressive experience in water resources, stormwater, or related civil engineering projects.
Pro-active, enthusiastic, self-starter with a good attitude who pays attention to details and is willing to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels

KEITH is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm looking for a self-motivated and experienced Project Manager / Civil Engineer with Roadway experience to join our Transportation team in our Orlando, FL office. The successful candidate must have FDOT design experience, as they will be required to work on FDOT design projects, and will need to have the knowledge of fundamental engineering processes required to carry-out the concurrent planning, design, production and construction of our engineering projects. Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to produce technically complex design plans and reports is a must.
