    Schedule: Monday-Friday; option for 4x10s or 5x8s, between 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Hours/Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week Our client's Outpatient Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Hand Therapist (OT) to join a highly collaborative, tight-knit outpatient rehab team. This department provides specialized post-operative and complex upper-extremity care in partnership with three on-site Hand Surgeons and two Physician Assistants, offering a clinically rich environment with direct access to surgical expertise. Patients are primarily post-operative, with additional traumatic and repetitive use conditions. Caseload averages 8-10 patients/day, primarily 1:1, with strong support from experienced therapy aides and engaged leadership. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive, evidence-based evaluations for post-surgical, traumatic, and overuse upper-extremity conditions. Develop customized treatment plans to restore functional use of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Fabricate, adjust, and manage custom orthoses/splints. Collaborate with patients and families to set functional, measurable treatment goals. Provide patient education on ergonomics, home exercise programs, and prevention strategies. Accurately document treatment and progress in compliance with regulatory and billing standards. Partner closely with referring surgeons, PAs, team members, and interdisciplinary providers to ensure continuity of care. Support productivity expectations while managing a dynamic outpatient schedule. Participate in quality improvement and lean practice initiatives. Supervise aides and students when appropriate. Engage in ongoing education and maintain/obtain CHT-level clinical competence. Current Oregon OT license (or ability to obtain). BLS required within 90 days of hire. CHT highly preferred. Will consider candidates with 1+ year of hand therapy experience, especially with strong orthotic fabrication skills but ideally seeking 2-3 years of experience Splinting and hand therapy experience strongly preferred. Caseload & Operations Average 8-10 patients per day in a patient centric model Direct interaction with surgeons for post-op progression and case discussions Strong support from highly engaged supervisors and senior staff.
