Responsibilities/duties
Be able to pull parts of an Assembly CAD drawing and lay out part in a clear manor for an operator to understand.
Develop and implement strategies to increase production.
Identify Software problems during programming.
Be able to assist in troubleshooting when an operator has an error at the machine.
Develop work instructions accompanied with program when required.
Maintain a log of all programs.
Must have full accountability of all programs
Requirements and Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree is a plus.
Knowledge of millwork is a plus.
A minimum of (2) courses in AutoCAD, or two years of working with AutoCAD
Understanding “Parts” drawing and drawing views(Top, front, side views) is a must.
Working knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of AlphaCam or equivalent CAM software is a plus.
Working with or being able to make 3D models is a plus
