This role will act as a key advisor to executive leadership and shareholders on technology strategy, innovation, cybersecurity, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives that directly impact profitability, scalability, and competitive positioning of the firm. The CIO will oversee the front side of the IT department, all strategic and operational activities that affect the end user and client experience. The CIO will also establish relationships for the advancement of operational procedures and the delivery of applications that function as tools for success for the Shareholders, management, business unit leaders, and business units. Responsibilities
Translate firm strategy into a multi-year technology and data roadmap aligned with revenue growth, margin improvement, and client experience. Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and deliver technology-enabled operational efficiencies and cost optimization initiatives. Establish and govern enterprise architecture standards, ensuring scalability, security, and interoperability across platforms. Drive data strategy, analytics, and reporting capabilities to improve decision-making, financial visibility, and operational performance. Own vendor strategy, contract negotiations, and technology spend optimization to maximize ROI and reduce redundancy. Strategically build onrelationships and collaborate with Shareholders, Business Unit Leaders, Partners, Attorneys, and Staff. Implement new technologythat offers competitive advantage and fits into the long-term strategy and vision of the firm. Understand operational procedures and facilitateneeds by infusing technology as a tool for success. Develop and implement enterprise applications to satisfy needs in practice management, financial management, and reporting. Establish and oversee cybersecurity, data privacy, and information governance programs to protect firm and client data. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and client security requirements. Develop and maintaintechnology policies, standards, and disaster recovery / business continuity plans. Serve as executive sponsor for audits, risk assessments, and incident response. Provide leadership in day-to-day support issues to ensure end-user needs are met.

Required Education and Experience:

Expert in Microsoft Office and Citrix Virtual Server environments required. Knowledge of Aderant Expert Sierra, MyCase, Net Documents and UKG is a plus. Technology person with a strong business perspective. Experience in the migration to enterprise level applications in financeand HR over the last 24 months. Experience in all aspects of technology regarding opening new offices and moving operations from one office to another is a plus. Law Firm technology experience, (e.case management, timekeeper, billable hours, matter driven key metrics and revenue operations) . Project management experience. Technology protocol and policy writing experience.

Ensures all billing issues, including deductions, accounts receivable and client concerns are monitored and resolved timely and provide submission and problem solving assistance where needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years' experience working in law firm Billing Dept. high volume/ large transaction work environment.
Must be experienced with law firm billing processes specifically electronic billings.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
Requires critical thinking skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Physical Demands
This position is considered to be mostly sedentary and will require the employee to sit for extended periods of time.
