Under the direction of the Avionics Crew Lead, this position is responsible for maintaining and installing avionics systems and performing complex troubleshooting, testing, and repair of avionics systems and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Operate various digital and analog test sets, primarily for line troubleshooting of complex avionics systems.
+ Make minor metal repairs, such as extracting bad screws and replacing racks.
+ Swing and compensate aircraft compass systems.
+ Troubleshoot aircraft systems using aircraft wiring diagrams and manufacturers' installation manuals.
+ Install and perform ground and flight checks of all avionics systems.
+ Perform all work to FAA and Dassault standards.
+ Present yourself professionally in day-to-day contact with customers, guests, and co-workers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Expertise in avionics troubleshooting and repair.
+ Proficiency in avionics installation.
+ Strong computer skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Graduation from an electronics/avionics technical school or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
+ Minimum two years of experience as an Avionics Technician, ideally in a business jet environment.
+ Military or commercial aviation work is considered.
+ Must supply own tools required to perform the job.
+ Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers.
