This role is the primary onsite IT presence in Reno, functioning as the lead for Tier 1 support activities. While this position has no direct reports, it requires someone who can operate independently, set the tone for support operations, and serve as the reliable "boots on the ground" resource for all onsite technical needs.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary onsite support technician at the Reno data center.
+ Provide Tier 1/lead-level support for Windows environments, enterprise applications, databases, and security-related issues.

+ Act as the escalation point during high-volume periods and help coordinate the on-call rotation.

Calculate monthly revenues and royalties.
Complete monthly close process including preparation of journal entries through posting.

Prepare monthly financial statements for projects as assigned.
Review work and prepare monthly written variance analysis on actual results for income and expense accounts compared to budget.
Provide support to Plant Managers concerning questions on charges to their Projects.
Prepare audit schedules for quarterly/annual reviews.
Assist in the verification of the effectiveness of various Internal Controls as applicable to Financial Reporting systems, both at the Regional Office and Plant locations.
The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in accounting and at least 2 years of accounting experience. Accounting designation is preferred. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in Microsoft GP 2018 (Great Plains) a plus, but at a minimum, requires experience in accounting software. Analytical skills and the ability to make confident decisions are also required. Basic knowledge of accounting procedures and principles and typing skill are a must.

- Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable processing. Note there is staff directly responsible for these activities. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will complete these tasks as needed if staff are out of office.
o Invoices are entered into and processed in QuickBooks Enterprise system.
