Key Responsibilities
+ Manage the maintenance and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.
+ Participate in incident, near-miss, and property damage investigations, ensuring appropriate follow-up and documentation.
+ Conduct, coordinate, and track various EHS training programs.
+ Perform routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and company EHS policies and procedures.
+ Maintain internal and external regulatory reporting, including air, stormwater, and surface water discharge data.
+ Serve as primary contact for regulatory agencies regarding inspections, permitting, and reporting (air, water, waste).
+ Ensure company compliance with OSHA, CAL/OSHA, EPA, AQMD, ADA, fire codes, and all applicable regulations.
+ Maintain compliance with permits, government regulations and industry best practices.
+ Stay current on all safety and environmental regulatory changes that may impact the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree required; BS in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred.
+ 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with EHS responsibility.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
+ Ability to work off-hours or be on-call as needed.
+ Demonstrated independent work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience working with local regulatory agencies preferred.
+ Familiarity with various emission control devices to ensure compliance.

**Job Title: TIG Welder** **Job Description** The TIG Welder is responsible for precision GTAW welding of stainless steel piping systems, ensuring weld quality that meets code standards (ASME Section IX when applicable) and project specifications. This role requires strong technical welding capability, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds in various positions.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipe of various schedules and diameters, ensuring full penetration, cleanliness, and proper purge techniques.
+ Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, P&IDs, and isometric drawings to determine weld placement, fit-up requirements, and fabrication details.
+ Prepare pipe joints, including cutting, beveling, grinding, cleaning, and aligning materials.
+ Set up and maintain welding equipment, purge systems, gas flow settings, and proper filler metals.
+ Weld in all positions (1G-6G) depending on project needs; maintain consistent weld quality across varying orientations.
+ Follow project and industry procedures for weld cleanliness, especially in sanitary or high-purity environments.
+ Perform visual inspection and assist with NDT requirements when necessary.
+ Maintain accurate weld logs, heat numbers, and material traceability when required.
+ Adhere to company and site-specific safety rules, including PPE use, hot-work safety, and lockout/tagout guidelines.
+ Collaborate with pipefitters, fabricators, foremen, and QA/QC personnel to ensure efficient workflow and quality compliance.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proven TIG (GTAW) experience welding stainless steel pipe, including thin-gauge and schedule pipe.
+ Ability to pass a TIG weld test on stainless steel pipe (6G position highly preferred).
+ Strong skills in fit-up, measurement, and fabrication.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and fabrication drawings.
+ Understanding of weld preparation, purging, filler selection, and weld sequencing.
+ Familiarity with ASME Section IX procedures (preferred but not always required).
+ Must be able to weld to code-quality standards with consistent bead appearance and penetration.
+ Ability to work safely and follow OSHA-compliant practices.

+ Experience with TIG, MIG, and flux core welding.
