**Responsibilities:**
+ Perform QC analysis of raw materials and production batches following SOPs
+ Perform pH, density, viscosity, color matching, fish eye, mil thickness, etc.
+ Maintain consistent and accurate documentation of each production batch upon release
+ Perform mixing of small custom batches
+ Assist Lab Manager with R&D of new and existing products

+ Maintain housekeeping of assigned areas
**Qualifications:**

We are seeking an experienced HBM Manual Machinist to work night shifts in our shop, where you will recondition various types of pumps based on blueprints and drawings. The role involves working with split case pumps, overhung pumps, horizontal pumps, multistage pumps, and more, using a range of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and bronze.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform line bores on pumps via Horizontal Boring Mill.
+ Conduct lathe machining and vertical milling using a Bridgeport machine.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for pump reconditioning.
+ Machine and recondition internal pump parts such as shafts, sleeves, rings, impellers, heads, and casings.
+ Create serrated finishes for flanges, dial pins, and cut diameters on IDs.
+ Mount faces for bearing houses and create keyways.
**Essential Skills**
+ 7+ years experience as a Manual Machinist.
+ Proficiency in using Horizontal Boring Mill (HBM).
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Expertise in manual machining and working with pump parts.
+ Experience with micrometers, calipers, and manual lathes.
