**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
+ Conducts and properly document all incident /accident investigations into our RIMIS system. Ensures the TPA thoroughly and properly investigates all initial claims. Monitor to ensure that TPA follows appropriate state workers compensation laws and defenses
+ Within the scope of authority, reviews and authorizes worker's compensation settlement offers to be made by the TPA
+ Effectively monitors medical and disability claim authorizations and payments to ensure their appropriate and accurate
+ Reviews costs associated with all claims handling and develops strategies to improve performance
+ Works with TPA to move claims toward closure
+ Partners with Safety, Human Resources and Corporate Legal to drive claims management
+ Makes appropriate referrals to outside vendors such as defense attorneys, nurse case managers and investigator
+ Collect OSHA data and update OSHA field in GRA
+ Coordinates the colleague's release to transitional duty with the Return to Work Specialist and the Field Office;

Join our team as an Aircraft Mechanic at a Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station, specializing in every aspect of aircraft maintenance. We service a wide range of aircraft, from narrow to wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul, and are home to one of the largest storage and reclamation operations globally.
**Responsibilities**
+ Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components using company tools and equipment in compliance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and internal policies.
+ Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and functional components such as rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
+ Read and interpret manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals and service bulletins to determine repair or replacement methods for malfunctioning or damaged components.
+ Complete appropriate documentation when removing units from aircraft or engines, including identification, inspections, routing tags, and entries in the Component Removal Log.
+ Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or defects.
+ Repair or replace defective engine parts and reassemble and install engines in aircraft.
+ Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
+ Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with commercial aircraft larger than a CRJ 900, especially Boeing 777 and Airbus models.
+ Possession of an Airframe license is required.
+ 2-5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ A&P license preferred.
+ Basic set of tools required, properly etched before the first day on site.
