As an Exceptions Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. The role primarily involves reviewing and analyzing data entries to identify and resolve exceptions, discrepancies, or errors using deductive reasoning and attention to detail. You will work closely with the Data Entry and Exceptions team to maintain the highest data quality standards and contribute to the overall success of the organization. - Review and analyze data entries for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify and document exceptions, discrepancies, or errors in data.
- Use deductive reasoning to investigate the root causes of data discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Data Entry and team members to resolve exceptions promptly.
- Communicate findings and provide recommendations for process improvements to prevent future exceptions.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of exceptions and their resolutions.
- Assist in developing and implementing data entry best practices and quality control procedures.
- Participate in training and mentoring new team members in exception handling.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in data entry and data analysis tools/software.
- Previous experience in data entry, quality assurance, or a related role is a plus.
